Having obtained the eye of hearing and thinking about the scriptures, possessing fearless courage in all good explanations, having undiminished sincerity for the sake of the Dharma and sentient beings, and receiving the lotus feet of the supreme deity with a respectful crown, he is called Mipham Nampar Gyalwa or Jamyang Gyepai Dorje. His works include: the "Superior Golden Light Sutra," the "Ten Wheels of Ksitigarbha Sutra," the "Sutra of Mindfulness and Awareness," the "Sutra Showing the Conduct of Bodhisattvas Through Skillful Means," the verses of the Naga King Drum Sound, and many other teachings of the Tathagata. There are also the treatises on logic by Master Nagarjuna, such as the "Hundred Treatises of Reasoning," the "Tree of Reasoning," and the "Nectar for Nourishing Beings," as well as collections of stories such as the "Garland of Jewels," and letters such as the letter from Master Mati Citra to King Kanishka, and the letter from Sangye Sangwa to the Tibetan King and ministers, and collections of stories. There are also the "Treasury of Verses of the Hidden Sun," the "Hundred Verses of Greed," the treatise on logic by Masuraksha, the treatise on logic by King Chanakya, the Jewel Garland of Answers to Questions by Donyo Cher, and the "Well-Spoken Words" of the glorious Sakya Pandita, as well as many treatises on logic written by Indian and Tibetan scholars, and the testaments of the Dharma Kings of Tibet. All the essential points of distinguishing between right and wrong, as stated in various scriptures, are gathered together in one place. At the great gathering place of the hundred laws of Dharma and politics, known as the "Glorious Spontaneous Accomplishment," at the famous palace of the Dharma King's kingdom, it was begun on the fourteenth day of the waxing moon of the miraculous month of the Wood Sheep year of the Rabjung cycle, on an auspicious day. Due to the connection of good wishes, this treatise was written by Lhasas Serkong Lama Rinpoche Ngawang Jamyang Rinchen and others during breaks from teaching the Five Treatises of Maitreya. It was completed on the second day of the white part of the later Dawa month, when the stars were auspicious and the time was auspicious. The scribe was Sonam Paldrub, a knowledgeable person who was clear in calligraphy and the treatises of knowledge. May this also greatly benefit the Dharma and sentient beings as long as space exists.
