US. Even if a virtuous person lives in a village, they are disciplined. Even if an unruly person lives in a monastery, it is a loss. Like a fine horse of the village is tamed, Like a wild beast of the forest is fierce. The mind is like lightning, clouds, and wind, And like the waves of the great ocean. Those who manifestly delight in illusory desires in the land, Those who are deceitful and wandering must be disciplined. When the mind becomes workable, Like the moon and stars in a clear lake, Qualities such as the five superknowledges, Will appear in very many forms. The profound and vast teachings of the Great Vehicle, By drinking the nectar of the ears without satiety, The power of the body of great learning is greatly increased, Holding the diadem of the name of the lion of speech. By examining the meaning of what is heard with the four reasonings, The light of the lamp of wisdom arising from thought, Which dispels the darkness of the gloom of bad intelligence, Appears in the mind like daytime. By single-pointedly placing the mind in equipoise on the true meaning, The union of calm abiding and insight, With the wondrous eye of wisdom, all phenomena, The truth of the nature of reality will be directly seen. Even householders who are in the presence of glory, With the power of wisdom, the great ocean of samsara, Having quickly dried up like water on black soil, Will go to the supreme state of true liberation. Just as seeing a bubble, Just as seeing a mirage, Likewise, those who view the world, Will not be seen by the Lord of Death. Whoever cultivates the noble truths, Which are very well taught with profound wisdom, Whatever fears exist in this world, Cannot frighten them. These aggregates are like an illusory city, The afflictions are like gatherings of clouds. Seeing that there is no birth, no change, and no presumption, One will be completely victorious in the battle of the four maras. Like dreams, illusions, and reflections of the moon in water, Knowing this conventional truth as it appears, And knowing that nothing is completely grasped, The ultimate truth is like the sky. Knowing that appearance and emptiness are not two, The realm of equality where the two truths are inseparable, The self-arisen, luminous, pure bodhicitta, Whoever realizes it will attain supreme enlightenment. In this world, the Buddhas, Are rarer than their arising, The fruit is secret mantra.

གས་金刚乘。如今如太阳般炽燃。如幻术般迅速安乐地。解脱的殊胜道上。具慧之人若能依止。如国王印札菩提般。于五种欲妙中。随心所欲地享用。获得双运之殊胜果位。《律仪论·守护大地庄严》中，关于考察行善之物的分别论述，第二十（品）完毕。无论何人如是宣说。安住于律仪的诸国王。如太阳般于大地之上。成为一切的庄严。末世具有此等功德。国王出现甚为稀有。若出现则仅此一位。便能掌控所有土地。如前所说。即便功德大多圆满。福德与财富，名声之声。为何不像夏天的鼓声般鸣响呢？如理安住于律仪的。人主无论于何处出现。如转轮王与如意宝般。汇集众多功德。具法国王乃天之子。成为一切人民之君主。是臣民之父与众生之亲友。是无偏众生的供养处。犹如珍贵的山王般。于众人之中以功德。显着超胜之国王彼。无论于何方何时出现。贤善之人皆会羡慕。恶劣之人也会畏缩。即便无需特意努力。 亦能以言语利益所有方。听闻尚且赞叹并效仿。若得见，岂能不欢喜瞻仰？他人观望且效法。臣民依止又有何稀奇？善缘之人心生欢喜。嫉妒之人虽怀恨。然其功德之伟大。无需威吓亦能压倒。胜者佛子守护世间。一切欢喜并赐予威力。彼国王之力量与气势。每年亦更加增长广大。如花朵、药材与谷物等。增长滋养之土地般。彼护地者之领地中。出现诸多吉祥之相。具足勇猛、聪慧、美貌之人，以及。如意之受用等。安乐与幸福，稀有之光彩。如竞赛般增长广大。

Gaḥ Vajrayāna. Now blazing like the sun. Like a magical illusion, quickly and happily. On the supreme path of liberation. Whichever wise person relies upon. Like King Indrabhūti. In the five desirable qualities. Enjoying as one pleases. Attains the supreme fruit of union. From the "Treatise on Ethics, Ornament of Protecting the Earth," the twentieth chapter, which is a detailed discussion on examining the objects of virtuous deeds, is completed. Whoever speaks as mentioned. The kings who abide in ethics. Like the sun upon the earth. Become the adornment of all. In degenerate times, possessing these qualities. It is rare for a king to appear. If one does appear, that single one. Will control all the lands. As mentioned above. Even if most of the qualities are complete. Fortune and wealth, the sound of fame. Why not resound like the drums of summer? The lord of men who properly abides in ethics. Wherever he appears. Like a Chakravartin and a wish-fulfilling jewel. Gathers many qualities. The righteous king is the son of the gods. Having become the lord of all people. He is the father of the subjects and the friend of beings. He is the object of offering for impartial beings. Like a precious mountain king. Among the people, with qualities. That king who is manifestly superior. Wherever and whenever he appears. Virtuous people will admire him. And wicked people will also shrink back. Even without special effort. He also benefits all directions with his words. Even hearing is praised and imitated. If seen, how can one not joyfully behold? Others look and imitate. What is so amazing about the subjects relying on him? People of good fortune rejoice. Even those who are jealous harbor resentment. But his great qualities. Overwhelm without intimidation. The victorious Buddhas and Bodhisattvas protect the world. Everyone rejoices and bestows power. The strength and might of that king. Also increase greatly each year. Like a land that increases and nourishes flowers, medicines, and grains, etc. In the territory of that protector of the earth. Many auspicious signs appear. People with courage, intelligence, and beauty, and. Desirable enjoyments, etc. Happiness and joy, rare splendor. Increase greatly like a competition.

May enjoyment be without decrease, and may the gathering of people increase like clouds. May all pray that this ruler of the earth lives long. May the stainless fame of lapis lazuli become the ornament of the directional goddesses, encircling the great ocean and reaching the peak of the king of mountains. Day by day, may I and others manifestly engage in the place of accumulating merit, filling it like the great ocean of inexhaustible water and jewels. By the power of merit, may the desired purpose be accomplished effortlessly and spontaneously. May the land always be happy, and may there be happiness in the next world as well. May good intelligence, power, and glory greatly increase through the power of merit, and through that means, may merit also be increased more and more. The rising of the sun, the flow of rivers, the fire of the eon, and the force of the wind, the majesty of a king possessing dharma, arise without anyone being able to prevent them. May all the goodness of dharma and politics increase and never decline, and may this going from happiness to happiness be the virtue of abiding in the system. The many treatises on the system, the collection of all the rivers of good speech, the greatness of this ocean, the support for the assembly of human lords and dragon kings, is amazing. Although there are limitless things to accept and reject, some are clearly shown directly, some are understood from implication, and others are known by symbolizing through this. Whoever knows and puts into practice even one verse from this, like taking medicine that extracts the essence, virtues and youth will newly arise. Even if one is not born into the lineage of kings, even the leaders of villages and households, if they practice this dharma well, they will be as beautiful as those who possess the earth. Even living alone without companions, protecting oneself like the dharma of kings, if one cherishes and cares for the people with their mind, one will someday become a king of dharma. Therefore, whoever studies this treatise, even if they are not a king by lineage, will surely have power over the kingdom of the king of virtues. May the King of Dharma, the Bhagavan, who always protects all the worlds including the gods, according to the teachings of the sons and retinue, may whatever treatise on the system of kings that is an ornament on this earth, as urged by the command of the holy prince, benefit all.
