It means earth. All appearances of samsara and nirvana are nothing other than a manifestation of mind. If you want to point out the key point, you should, like a swift death, first examine the mind that holds inward among the two, the grasper and the grasped. Because in this way, it is easy to cut off the false increase of other dharmas arising from it, so it is necessary to examine the mind first. Although there are many classifications of mind, such as the eight consciousnesses, in reality there is nothing other than the momentary conceptual thought that arises and disappears in an instant. If you can recognize it as the actor and the experiencer of results from a continuous perspective, and be convinced that it is the source of evil, you can completely eradicate conceptual thought and find weaknesses at the same time. If you examine the place of origin, the originator, the manner of arising, etc. of such a mind, when the mind becomes rootless and baseless, what remains is only the single awareness, so it is easy to recognize it. Furthermore, as stated in Yangti, if the object of observation and the observer are one, there will be contradictions because there are two. If the object of observation and the observer are different, there must be knowledge of the place of origin, the goer, and the destination, which will lead to too many knowledge systems, etc., and you should also observe from these aspects. After that, the so-called observation of naked awareness is when the lama lets the disciple relax in a state free from the place of origin, the goer, and the destination, and leaves him for a few days. When asked how it is now, if he says that there is nothing but emptiness, then let the conceptual thoughts continue to develop to see if it is true. If he says it is clear, then let him observe the place of origin, the goer, and the destination as before. In this way, according to the needs and the disciple's aptitude, if one day he says that luminosity and emptiness are inseparable, free from thought and speech, then it means that he has slightly entered the door and grasped a little trick. Because of the difference in aptitude, some people can be like those who have already realized awareness just through introduction. Such people, the objects to be tamed that this treatise truly teaches, are like clouds arising from the sky, dissolving into the sky, and not moving from the sky, arising from the dharmadhatu or original purity, dissolving into it, and giving rise to practice that does not move from it. Also, for those with inferior aptitude, all the practices of body, speech, and mind should be practiced intermittently like a madman, without clinging to the idea of "I must be like this," which is the key point. During the main guidance, the so-called "Dokzhak" is like wrapping a child in clothes, etc.

Like being still, it means like being still or keeping the eyes still. Just as a bundle of hay, when tied and cut, becomes loose, the posture of the body should also be comfortable. However, one must first adjust the tightness and looseness. When it is said, "Like a mountain being still," it refers to the self-nature of awareness-emptiness, which is not shaken by the mind's thoughts. Like a lute with a broken string, abandoning all that is done by the wind of moving thoughts, even including recitation. It is said, "The quality of meditation depends on the posture of the eyes," so the eyes must be fixed straight ahead in the space between the eyebrows. It is said that when awareness is stable, the eyes will also become stable. Although there is no term "three brothers of space" here, it is similar in terms of practice. In the case of "everything is mind-made," it is generally necessary to distinguish between appearance and the object of appearance. For example, for a single object, there is both a part of the object of appearance that is formed by common karma and a part of the appearance that appears by one's own karma, that is, there are two parts. The former does not change according to whether one exists or not. The latter changes, so everything is shown as a self-appearing appearance, and ultimately merges into the realm of clear light, which refers to the latter. All dharmas are encompassed by a single realm, and the realm has the nature of wisdom, so all appearances are self-appearances of wisdom. Although all appearances of wisdom are not actual wisdom, by the power of being appearances of that wisdom, they will eventually become actual wisdom, just as a single pore of the Buddha can know all that is to be known. Crystal clear means without sinking or turbidity. The self-nature of primordial wisdom is difficult to realize even by analysis that is very attached to reasoning. Therefore, one must rely on devout prayers to the lama and the power of meditation from repeatedly engaging in diligent practice to realize it. Therefore, even when looking at books such as the Seven Treasures, if one looks from the state of relaxed awareness, wisdom will arise that distinguishes each aspect of awareness, and one will gain great understanding, which is the oral transmission of Dodrupchen Rinpoche. According to the division of four moments and three moments, there is successively the wisdom that is free from four parts and three parts, and the moment of present consciousness. The special feature of this kind of terminology is that it is the non-thought that is seen in the wake of being free from the thoughts of the three times.
