When summarizing the stages into the essential point, if the generation stage is too extensive, there will appear faults such as immediately entering the completion stage and causing outward scattering. Therefore, in order to rely on the completion stage, one should meditate on this condensed generation stage. After completing all the preliminaries, from the three types of causal samadhi, in the center of the protective wheel, on the lotus and moon seat, generate the self-generation samaya being of the three-dharma generation, invite the wisdom being and merge it. When practicing attachment to the appearance of the deity, the four mindfulness objects, start with the one that is easiest to grasp in the mind, and the order is not entirely fixed. Then, finally, perform gross and subtle recitations, and if you feel tired, you can also perform verbal recitations as appropriate, and then enter the close-taking yoga as before. When sleeping at night, focus your mind on the seed syllable in your heart and enter the yoga of sleep. In any case, through these, the stages of generating yoga are completed. Second, regarding the perfection stage of oral instructions: it is divided into the ultimate view of Trekchö, the essential practice of Tögal, and the conclusion with the stages of the senses. First, regarding the view, it is also divided into entering the path, the special preliminary practice of distinguishing samsara and nirvana, practicing the six realms' seed syllables, and the actual preliminary practice. First, the special preliminary practice of distinguishing samsara and nirvana: As stated in the "Thal 'Gyur": "If samsara and nirvana are not distinguished, the three realms' body, speech, and mind, cannot sever the connection, therefore, samsara and nirvana should be distinguished." Therefore, one should go to a deserted mountain valley or a desolate cemetery, etc., which is extremely secluded and cannot be seen by ordinary people. First, after performing extensive or concise preliminaries as appropriate, those who like elaboration should offer a torma to the local deities and warn them, saying, "In order to cut off the birth gate of us six realms, we will practice here for this period of time, please do not create obstacles." If this is not done, it will not become a fault of breaking the vow. In any case, one should first think like this: "Alas! In the past, in this place of the three realms of samsara, I have taken countless births. Each birth formed a body. Each time I obtained a body, there was not a single suffering of the six realms that I did not experience, and this mouth also clings to duality."

activities. This mind is also no different from the mind of the Buddha, but due to not understanding, it has wandered in the six realms before and suffered so much. Now, I am not confident that I can cut off rebirth with just this much. Therefore, now is the time to distinguish between samsara and nirvana, so how can I afford to be leisurely? Therefore, having distinguished between samsara and nirvana, I must definitely find a way not to be reborn in samsara again. First, the suffering of the hot and cold hells, and the strong wailing of "Ah cha, Ah na, Ah chu ku, Huhu," etc. Similarly, there are the hunger and thirst wanderings of the pretas, and the sounds of animals, insects, buzzing, and emptiness, etc. The various actions of humans, words, sadness, and wailing, etc. The Asuras shout, "Kill! Beat! Kill him!" etc. The gods play and sing, etc. As soon as they are done, the trees wither, the water dries up, and they die, and they call out in a crying voice that they will fall into the lower realms, etc. In short, do whatever comes to mind. At those times, do not be deceived by the play, but with a strong feeling that it is real, the body makes its own gestures, the mouth speaks words, and the mind also remembers those sufferings, and must experience them in the continuum. Then, stare at the self-nature of the maker of each suffering. Sometimes, also visualize the peaceful Buddha, and the appearance of the wrathful deity, and the mouth emits the sound of the Dharma and various fierce laughter, and the mind also takes those images as the path, and again examines the self-nature of the maker. Although it is said that the three doors of body, speech, and mind should be done separately in principle, they should be put into practice as soon as they are said. If there is really no time to specifically distinguish between samsara and nirvana, then practicing in this way in the mind at home can also fully grasp the key points, which is the teaching of oral transmission. The sign of being proficient in practice there is that if the body has no attachment, no acceptance or rejection, and no feeling of hunger or thirst, then the body has distinguished between samsara and nirvana. If understanding arises from the Guru's instructions, and it does not remain only in words, but the meaning is understood, then the speech has distinguished between samsara and nirvana. If the mind is clear, without confusion and conceptual thought, and the experience of bliss and emptiness arises, then the mind has distinguished between samsara and nirvana. Two
