“To do,” etc. From this very text, it says: “Sitting on a comfortable seat, straighten the body; calm the mind; visualize the guru as Vajra Dharma on the crown of the head,” and so on. That is because all the key points of interdependence of this profound path must be arranged from here. For that purpose, out of the two, offering prayers and receiving the four empowerments, first, for the sake of offering prayers, in a secluded place where meditation does not produce thorns and is agreeable to the mind, in the pure realm of one's own place, vast and immeasurable, one's own body posture is straightened on a comfortable seat. The key point of the mind is not defiled by any of the three poisons, and in a state of calmness, in the sky in front of oneself, the self-radiance of the five wisdoms, in the realm of the intertwining of the five lights, on the lion throne, lotus, sun, and moon seat, the kind root guru, in the form of Vajradhara, with a red-colored body, like a refuge object, or Vajra Dharma Heruka, with a white body and a reddish glow, one face, two hands, three eyes, slightly smiling, wrathful, with an attractive and expansive demeanor, the right hand holding a vajra at the heart, the left hand holding a bell at the waist, with a khatvanga in the armpit, naked, with bone ornaments binding the hair, adorned with five skull crowns and six bone seals, the lower body wrapped in a tiger skin, with both feet in a playful posture, the right foot slightly extended, adorned with the thirty-two major marks and eighty minor marks on the body, the speech proclaiming the Dharma sound of the sixty branches, the mind absorbed in hundreds of thousands of doors of samadhi, infinite rays of light emanating from the body, pervading the sky, the illusory body of wisdom, inseparable from bliss and emptiness, the essence of all Buddhas combined, dwelling clearly in a manner that is pleasing and loving to oneself, surrounded by the lineage lamas, yidams, Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, and noble ones, dakinis, Dharma protectors, guardians, those with the eyes of wisdom, without exception, all dwelling vividly as if directly perceived. Moreover, the great teacher said: “The guru is the embodiment of all Sugatas, the nature of the Three Jewels.” And the Vinayasutra says: “The guru is the Buddha, the guru is the Dharma, likewise, the guru is the Sangha.” As it is said, the guru is all-encompassing.

The essence of all Buddhas of the three times gathered into one. The body is the Sangha, the speech is the sacred Dharma, and the mind is the nature of all Buddhas combined. Moreover, regarding one's own perception as even more superior and kind than all the Buddhas, gather the mind entirely into devotion and respect, emanate bodies as numerous as the dust particles of the fields, and prostrate together with all sentient beings. Offering vast clouds of offerings. Confessing all misdeeds with remorse and restraint like drinking poison. Rejoicing in the wondrous deeds. Requesting that the form body not pass into nirvana. Urging to turn the wheel of Dharma. Representing this, dedicating the virtues of oneself and others to unsurpassed enlightenment. While contemplating the meaning of the sevenfold purification, verbally: To the Buddhas with their sons and retinues, I prostrate with reverence. The supreme offering of all outer, inner, and secret offerings. From beginningless lifetimes, All sinful deeds are confessed and repented. For the benefit of all sentient beings, All virtues are rejoiced in. Whatever Buddhas intend to pass into nirvana, I request you to remain for oceans of kalpas. According to the minds of those to be tamed, I urge you to turn the wheel of Dharma. Whatever merit has been accumulated, All is dedicated to great enlightenment. Speak as much as possible. Then, the great Jetsun said: "When longing for the lama arises, Realization and blessings will surely arise." As it is said, generate certainty that the lama is the essence of all refuges, abandon the evil mind of fault-finding, and remembering the words of the teachings, gather the mind entirely into devotion and respect, with hope and reliance, verbally: In the palace of Dharmadhatu, unborn and free from elaboration, The supreme primordial protector, naturally pure, I pray to Kuntuzangpo Dharmakaya Samantabhadra, Please bless my lineage. In the pure land of Vajradhatu, clear and unobstructed, The spontaneously accomplished, radiant, great bliss illusory body, I pray to the Sambhogakaya great compassionate one, Please bless my lineage. In the palace of compassion that appears according to what is to be tamed, The uninterrupted, self-arisen, emanation body that tames beings, I pray to Orgyen, the teacher Padmasambhava, Please bless my lineage. In the palace of compassion that tames beings, In whatever way, whenever,
