At the earnest request of Gyurme Tenzin Chokdrub, and recently, when giving a compilation of instructions to several Vajra brothers such as the hermits Kunsang Gyurme Namdrol and Gyurme Tharphen, I noted down the key points of the instructions and then added a little more to them. I, the mad and foolish Migyur Paldron, who take the dust of the feet of many holy beings such as the incomparable and kind master, the supreme lama, the great treasure revealer Chökyi Gyalpo, Terdak Lingpa, etc., as an ornament for my head and live by their kindness, wrote this down in the solitary meditation room of Khadro Dechen Ling near Ogyen Mindroling on the tenth day of the waxing moon of the last winter month of the Water Male Rat year at the age of thirty-four.
