Regarding the guidance on focused thinking: If due to non-virtuous actions, Even if reborn in the three lower realms, there's no need to fear, what is there to fear? Do not have such arrogant thoughts. If you think like that, let alone personally experiencing those sufferings, even seeing or hearing the images or drawings of those sufferings, or just recalling them, it is unbearable to think of those sufferings, and you will feel your heart racing. As it is said in the "Letter to a Friend": "Seeing, hearing, remembering, reciting, or making images of hell, also generates fear, what need is there to mention those who constantly experience unbearable ripening?" Just as it is said. In general, hell beings always suffer from the pain of heat and cold, animals suffer from the pain of ignorance and being killed, these sufferings are unimaginable. Even in the happy realms, it is not without suffering. In general, humans have the suffering of birth, old age, sickness, and death. Similarly, Asuras are always tormented by fighting. Gods enjoy sensual pleasures, but like drinking salt water, they are never satisfied, and eventually they have to experience the suffering of death and falling for up to seven years. Even in the two upper realms (form realm and formless realm), although there is no obvious suffering for the time being, there is definitely only the pervasive suffering of conditioned existence. Therefore, worldly and meditative samadhi, although they seem comfortable for the time being, once the karmic force is exhausted, they will eventually fall into the three lower realms and so on. As it is said in the "Letter to a Friend": "Even though the pleasures of the heavenly realms are very great, and even though Brahma obtains the pleasure of detachment from desire, he still becomes firewood for the fire of Avici, therefore, one should know that suffering is continuous." Also, as it is said in the same text: "Even having become Indra, worthy of the world's offerings, he falls to the earth again due to the power of karma. Even having become a universal monarch, he becomes a slave again in samsara." In the "Mindfulness Sutra" it says: "Sentient beings in hell are burned by the fires of hell, pretas are tormented by hunger and thirst, animals devour each other, humans have short lives, and gods are negligent. Samsara is like the tip of a needle, there is never any happiness." Also, as it is said in the "Ratnagotravibhāga": "Just as there is no fragrance in impure things, there is no happiness in the five realms, it is the source of suffering."

Like touching salt that cannot be touched, etc. (End of quote). Also, as stated in the "Extensive Play Sutra": Due to the power of ignorance, sentient beings, humans, gods, and the three realms of existence, are not skilled in wandering in the five realms of existence, just like a potter turning a wheel. (End of quote). The suffering of old age and sickness in the three realms blazes, here there is no death, extremely blazing, without protector. Arising from existence, sentient beings are always deluded, like a bee trapped in a jar. (End of quote). Therefore, in this place of the three realms of samsara, no matter where one is born, high or low, there is no opportunity for happiness even for a moment, like a patient constantly suffering from needle pricks. Therefore, like a criminal escaping from prison, one must resolve to attain liberation from this place. One must generate strong renunciation and sorrow towards samsara from the bottom of one's heart. As the great teacher said: Even if one strives in worldly affairs, there is no end; if one strives in Dharma, one quickly attains the means of accomplishment; even if worldly affairs are done well, they ultimately perish; the result of practicing the sacred Dharma will not decline; from beginningless time, the habits of karma and afflictions have been accumulating uninterruptedly in the mindstream; due to its power, one wanders in samsara in delusion; there is no measure of when one will be liberated; at the time of death, even if one remembers, it is of no use; like medicine is useless when the head is cut off; therefore, if one fully understands the suffering of samsara, in order to truly ascend the path of peace, cherishing all beings with love and compassion, practice the yoga of the union of emptiness and compassion. Also, as the great accomplished Melong Dorje said: Think about the suffering of samsara! Emerge into the supreme Dharma of the Three Jewels, may this human body become meaningful! (End of quote). Having generated certainty about these, abandon the affairs of this life, make the Dharma that makes the most of leisure and endowment the essence, and effort is very important. Fifth, the foundation of the general vehicle, the guidance of taking refuge: From the Key Instructions: From suffering, beings equal to space...etc. From beginningless lifetimes, being oppressed by the thick darkness of ignorance, due to the power of karma and afflictive habits, what can protect us from the terrifying prison of samsara, the ocean of suffering, like a pit of fire, is only the Three Jewels, there is no other. Worldly gods and kings
