If other targets besides the clear light, as described in the profound and vast Dharma, are practiced here in an interconnected manner, they will also become good components, but even if they are not done, there will be no deficiency. Therefore, it is fine to practice in whatever way, whether extensive or concise. Second, the main practice is divided into two parts: establishing the basis of bliss and warmth, and practicing the actual Tummo. First, establishing the basis of bliss and warmth: As it says in this text, "Yourself as the deity's body, empty and clear, like crystal." etc., settle yourself on a comfortable cushion, with your body in the seven-point posture. The key point of visualization is as before: the deity's body is empty, clear, unobstructed, like a rainbow or crystal, clearly visualizing a red Yungdrung at the tip of the nose, bright and shimmering, slightly moving, about the size of a bean. In the navel, visualize a red triangular Dharma origin, with a thin root, inserted into the secret place, with a wide opening, facing upwards, with two corners pointing to the left and right, and the front pointing to the navel. In the center of such a clear body, clearly visualize the three channels as before, with the upper end reaching the crown of the head and the lower end reaching the inside of the Dharma origin, about four fingers below the navel. In the central channel, visualize the red essence, the syllable (藏文:ཨི་,梵文天城体:ई,梵文罗马拟音:ī,汉语字面意思:伊)Ī, the nature of fire, burning about the size of a bean, and meditate with focus. When it becomes clear, clear the waste air, inhale the upper air, press it into the navel, and draw the lower air upwards, causing the sustaining air to stand like a spear, impacting the Dharma origin. Because of this, the Dharma origin itself rotates faster and faster to the left, maintaining focus and binding it immovably. Because of this, the syllable (藏文:ཨཾ་,梵文天城体:अं,梵文罗马拟音:aṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡)Aṃ emits a strong fire wind, passing through the path of dhūti, impacting the Yungdrung of the nostrils. That Yungdrung rotates violently to the left like a wheel of fire, focusing on it with one mind, and one should learn the vase breathing with four combinations. That is to say, if the channels have already opened and the vase breathing has been accomplished during the previous practice of dhūti air, or if it has been accomplished elsewhere, then there is no need to mention it. Otherwise, at this time, it is necessary to practice until various experiences arise. Second, practicing the actual Tummo: As it says in the profound and vast Dharma, "Then the Tummo Yogini, generating warmth, the oath Tummo." etc. Generating warmth, the oath Tummo, expanding bliss and warmth into emptiness, this is the wisdom Tummo, there are three in total.

From here. First, the heat-generating samaya Tummo: It is this. After meditating on it, in the Dharma-arising palace of the navel chakra within the dhūti, there is a red A (Tibetan: ཨ, Devanagari: अ, Romanized Sanskrit: a, Literal Meaning: A) the size of a mustard seed, and at the crown of the head, a white Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཾ, Devanagari: हं, Romanized Sanskrit: haṃ, Literal Meaning: Hūṃ), and so on. That is, the body posture should be either the seven-point posture of Vairocana or the triangular furnace posture, whichever is comfortable. The key point of meditation is one's own deity body, the three channels are more special than before, the Dharma-arising palace itself appears within the central channel of the navel chakra, the inner space is empty, the bindu of the sun of wisdom, the red ཨ letter the size of a mustard seed, head pointing upwards, bright red and about to ignite, at the upper end of the central channel at the crown of the head, the bindu of the moon of method, the white ཧཾ letter head pointing downwards, newly shining, oily and condensed, possessing the nature of bliss, about to enter. Once this is clear, eliminate with three exhalations, visualizing that all illnesses, demons, sins, and obscurations are completely purified, then draw the upper air, passing through the path of single exhalation to reach the junction of the three channels. By contracting the lower air, the downward-clearing air rises upwards, entering the tip of the central channel. The three airs become one, and by blowing on the ཨ at the navel chakra, the flame of Tummo wisdom blazes forth from the ཨ with a whooshing sound, subtle, clear, and radiant. The tip is sharp like lightning, burning about a finger's length. Then gradually increase in length, controlling with kumbhaka, because the flame touches the ཧཾ, just like lighting a lamp in a dark room, all the channels are seen clearly and unobstructed, the entire body is filled with fire, like iron being melted, bright red, generating warmth and heat, believing and focusing on non-objectification, meditating single-mindedly. Then, after several breaths have passed, and the experience of warmth has arisen. Bind the life force and downward-moving air at the navel chakra as before, especially drawing the lower air into the navel chakra three times and binding it. To this, visualize that due to the impact of the upward-moving air, a smoke-like gas emerges from the anus as a bluish mist. With both hands clenched into fists and pressed on the ground, press the body onto the ground from the lotus position, and repeat this seven times on the ground. Sometimes the flame is thin and clear, burning brightly red like a copper needle. Sometimes meditate in a state of non-attachment to anything. All of these are combined with a key point of the air channel, do not suppress until you can comfortably control the air, if it is uncomfortable, it is not appropriate to be too intense before you are initially proficient, re-grasp from the foundation, and do not let the air enter when focusing.
