During the practice of the Guru Vajrayogini, the light from the heart purifies and gathers the outer environment and inner beings. In particular, through the actual practice of the Great Bliss recitation, the experience of the bindu becoming stable and clear is generated, the downward-moving energy dissolves into the central channel, and from the promise to eliminate these obstacles, the experience of non-conceptuality arises, and the life force dissolves into the central channel, thus becoming a cause for maturation. The means of purification is: Here, focusing mainly on the recitation of speech, the sound vibrations of the mantras are repeated, which is the wheel. It has four aspects: the intention of the recitation, the initiation of the recitation, the actual recitation, and the concluding activities. First, although the expanding and contracting recitation is not mentioned here, it is said in the root instructions: "Practice the accomplishment and the Great Bliss recitation." Similarly, in the action ritual, it is said that the expanding and contracting recitation is the recitation that accomplishes the deeds of the Buddha, and the recitation known as the crooked or Great Bliss recitation. As Je Tsongkhapa also said in the recitation manual that the latter recitation is the main one to be recited, here both methods of recitation will be explained. First, the expanding and contracting recitation is: Visualize that in the hearts of all the deities, the lotus petals are fully opened, and on the seat of stacked sun and moon discs, the seed syllables reside. As it is said in the action ritual that all the deities are surrounded by extremely subtle mantras around the red ཧྲཱིཿ (Tibetan, Devanagari: ह्रीः, Romanized Sanskrit: hrīḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hrih). But the special focus here is that on the seats in their respective hearts are their respective seed syllables. The main male and female deities have the red ཧྲཱིཿ (Tibetan, Devanagari: ह्रीः, Romanized Sanskrit: hrīḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hrih), and the retinue has the syllables Ra, Ha, etc., each with the color of their respective families. The main male and female deities have their respective mantras to be recited, the male and female dakinis of the retinue have the mantras of the secret chakra, and the subtle consorts have ༀ་བཛྲ་ཨཾ་ཀུ་ཤ་ཛཿ ༀ་རཏྣ་པཱ་ཤ་ཧཱུྃ༔ (Tibetan, Devanagari: oṃ vajra aṃ kuśa jaḥ oṃ ratna pāśa hūṃ, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ vajra aṃ kuśa jaḥ oṃ ratna pāśa hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om, Vajra, Ang, Hook, Born. Om, Jewel, Noose, Hum) etc. Visualize these extremely subtle, clear, and flame-like burning garlands of mantras, each swaying and rotating to the right. When reciting the mantras, focus the mind on their respective hearts, and visualize the mantra garlands emitting their own sound, buzzing like a beehive, and visualize that all the main deities and retinue are also reciting. Visualize that light radiates from these mantra garlands, pervading the entire expanse of space, offering pleasing offerings to all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the ten directions. All the blessings and attainments of these

Visualize that the body, letters, and hand implements of the great master transform into rain, permeating my three doors of body, speech, and mind. Alternatively, visualize them condensing into rays of light that dissolve into me, thereby purifying the two obscurations along with their habitual tendencies, perfecting the two accumulations, and fully receiving the four empowerments. Reciting in this way is the recitation for gathering blessings for one's own benefit. Here, for those who enjoy elaboration, it is also permissible to add the key points of invoking the guru's mind during times of elaboration. As stated in the Nyang Treasure: "Red light radiates forth, striking all Sugatas, urging them to benefit sentient beings; striking Bodhisattvas, purifying subtle obscurations of knowledge, and giving rise to vajra-like samadhi; striking Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, awakening them from one-sided peace, and urging them to generate the mind of the Great Vehicle for the benefit of sentient beings." Furthermore, visualize that the light radiating from the mantra garland strikes all sentient beings of the six realms encompassed by the three realms, thereby purifying the three karmas—meritorious, non-meritorious, and unwavering—and the five poisonous emotions that incite these karmas. Thus, all temporary stains, such as the karmic and emotional obscurations that ripen into the painful results of earth, water, fire, and wind, are purified. Reciting while contemplating that they awaken into the nature of the three vajra bodies is the recitation for the benefit of others' activities. Then, decisively determine that all of self, others, environment, and beings are merely the play of mind itself. The external appearance of the environment, which appears as the object to be grasped, and the internal clinging appearance of sentient beings, which appears as attachment, are all that revolve like a wheel in the two ways of external and internal interdependence. All of this is completely perfected as the pure environment and beings, transformed into a palace and a mandala of deities. All sounds that arise are the mantra of the six syllables (oṃ maṇi padme hūṃ, Tibetan: ༀ་མཎི་པདྨེ་ཧཱུྃ,Sanskrit Devanagari: ओम् मणि पद्मे हूँ,Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ maṇi padme hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om! Jewel in the lotus! Hum!), the self-sound of the Dharma nature. The thoughts of the mind are bliss, clarity, and non-conceptual wisdom, appearing as the play of the Dharmakaya. Reciting while contemplating in this way and without clinging is the recitation of non-duality of self and other. Secondly, the recitation of great bliss. The term "special" indicates that the previous elaborate and concise recitations have already been shown as common methods of recitation. In order to make the wheel of one's own heart the lord of the deity, visualize its color as red.
