However, for those cases where personal Lhasnam (god banners) are not needed, the latter method is often used. Regarding the meaning of "khyams," in some mandala rituals, such as the statement "the surroundings of the outer khyams of the door are round," it can be understood in this way. Therefore, if the method of opening a door at a corner is adopted here, it will be better. As it is said, it is good to do so. First, fill the central peg hole with paints that represent the meaning of self-existing wisdom, with different colors, check the quality of the paints, and then apply them sequentially according to the basis of the drawn lines, and draw marks on the body and other places. Then, arrange the objects of accomplishment empowerment, such as vases, offering utensils, and mandala ornaments. The merit of constructing the mandala in this way is: In "Increasing Wisdom" it says: Whoever draws the supreme mandala of the Victorious Ones with lines and colors, the merit he obtains exceeds the merit of giving seven jewels to all Buddha lands in the ten directions. The magnitude of this merit is immeasurable, all deeds are accomplished, and all Buddhas contemplate it. By contemplating the mandala, one will obtain immeasurable benefits. Second, regarding practice and offering: In the yogi's state of meditative absorption, the appearance of the impure vessel and essence world disappears, and the wheel of the mandala, including the support and the supported, appears. With the key point of practice that is not defiled by attachment, practice the self, front, and vase as inseparable. During offerings, praises, recitations, etc., distinguish the self and front with the terms "Vow" and "Wisdom," or without distinguishing, let the emanation deity complete these sequences. Either way, there is no contradiction. During vase recitation, clearly visualize and then recite, etc. These key points should be determined as stated by Je Tsongkhapa in the Mandala Ritual Supplement. These sequences are: In the Empowerment Ritual it says: Bathe, apply fragrance, sit on a cushion, the mandala of symbolic substances itself, the great wheel of wisdom that the symbol represents, with great desire like an image, meditate with immeasurable meditative absorption, through recitation and practice of great accomplishment, the sequence is twenty-one or fourteen or seven days of practice. And so on. At these times, eliminate obstacles and increase the power of favorable conditions. Among them it says: Subduing obstacles and adversities, the wheel of the Tsok offering of Torma, and likewise the activity of fire offering. Thus practice.

When (the guru) sees the signs, he takes accomplishment for his own benefit and engages in the activity of bestowing empowerment on disciples for the benefit of others. Therefore, through the ritual of accomplishing activities, when auspicious signs are seen, uniting the deity and oneself, taking accomplishment and accepting disciples. This is how it is connected. Third, entering (the mandala), first, the guru himself views himself as inseparable in nature from the mandala deity, which is also called throwing the flower of wisdom or entering the self-manifested mandala with wisdom. Therefore, here, it is said that merely believing that oneself is inseparable from the deity is sufficient to complete the guru's entry (into the mandala). However, in detail, just as the disciple enters, one also enters the mandala and receives empowerment through the appropriate elaborate or concise ritual. Then, the disciple should be led to enter (the mandala), that is, to enter the outer colored powder mandala and the inner wisdom mandala. The first is: have the disciples bathe outside, dispel obstacles, with prostrations and offering mandalas as preliminaries, blindfolded, with palms together holding flowers, pray to enter the mandala. After asking their wishes and giving answers, accumulate merit through refuge, bodhicitta, and the seven-branch offering, and take special vows. Visualize the moon and vajra, and then recite "May all generate the mind of yoga," (Tibetan: ཐམས་ཅད་རྣལ་འབྱོར་གྱི་སེམས་བསྐྱེད་པར་བགྱིའོ།) through the meaning of this mantra, generate the mind of uniting the two truths. The guru makes it firm through the meaning of the mantra "The vow of bodhicitta, you..." Through these methods, bind the continuum, and then actually sit in the mandala room or curtain. Furthermore, in terms of meditation, by reciting mantras to open the four doors of the vast mandala, guided by the action vajra holding the vajra in his hand, entering from the east door, then exiting, following the clockwise direction, with the entry of the four immeasurables such as compassion, passing through the four doors in order, and finally entering again from the east door, performing prostrations of body, speech, and mind from the four directions, and so on. The second is: through the four aspects of benefits, faults, both advantages and disadvantages, and the strict command of the vajra master, have them keep the vows, thereby strengthening the continuum. Then, by actually bestowing wisdom, the continuum is blessed by the deity, thereby actually or at least slightly gaining an experience of the non-duality of bliss and emptiness.
