This is about the pride of purity and completion connected to the earth. How do these become the cause of maturation for the higher path? The elements stacked in layers, along with Mount Meru, are connected to the five chakras and the central channel. The base of the mandala, the lotus, sun, and crossed vajra, are the wind-essence bindus at the center of the chakras. The aspect of mind that is clear, empty, and blissful, which is mixed as one taste with these, is the celestial mansion. By meditating well on this, the channels, winds, and bindus become soft and subdued, and therefore it lays the foundation for the wisdom of the completion stage to arise in the continuum, and thus it becomes the cause of maturation. In short, here, I will write a little about the self-arisen view of the meaning of mandala meditation, which has fourteen points. First, the general lower base is: On top of the elements stacked in layers, along with Mount Meru, a large blue vajra, the spaces in between like a sieve, filled with tiny vajras, connected in a way that is like melting, the base is solid, stable, and even. Second, the surroundings: Since the previous protection wheel has not been gathered, there is no need to clearly visualize the vajra tent, etc. However, outside the lower base that serves as the boundary, it is surrounded by a vajra fence like an iron wall, from which emanate endless flames of five colors. Inside the vajra fence is formed by the vajra ground, like dust, making the shape of the vajra not visible, the base is surrounded by eight great charnel grounds. In these charnel grounds, there are eight great charnel ground dharma trees. At the base of each tree, there are eight directional guardians, each residing on their own mount, with their consorts leaning on them from the left. The mounts of these guardians face forward, holding skull-cups filled with flesh and blood in their hands, and eight field protectors emerge half their bodies from among the branches and leaves. Similarly, there are eight great rivers. In the center of these rivers, there are eight great nagas emerging half their bodies above. In the sky above, there are eight great clouds dwelling and raining down. Supported by eight great mountains, there are eight stupas. Eight fires are accomplished. There are also gatherings of vidyadhara heroes and yoginis, and it is filled with many flesh-eating demons and fierce birds and beasts. Stiff corpses, fragments, and skeletons, etc., are scattered, making it terrifying.

Lotus: The petals extend horizontally from their respective roots for about one-third of their length, and then rise upwards, with the tips slightly curved inwards. The center, surrounded by various colors, is the base from which the petals grow. The lotus center is round and flat, green in color, and surrounded by red and yellow stamens and pollen. From the edge of the fire to here, the meaning of contemplation is very broad, although the dimensions can only be determined through contemplation. However, dimensions are set to avoid errors in creating the image. Here, because it is made according to the poses of the Eight Horses and Four Horses, the dimensions are not necessarily uniform. In the case of the Eight Horses, the diameter of the round lotus center is eighteen large parts, and in the case of the Four Horses, it is sixteen large parts. In any case, above the lotus center, there is a clear and bright sun disc, with the same size and width as the stamens. In the center of the sun disc, there is a blue, square, variegated vajra center, with a direct width of twelve large parts and a height of one large part. The petals that emerge from there, the three petals of the east are white, and so on, having the colors of the respective directions. The middle petal is one large part at the thickest part of the center, and the root and tip are half of that, with the tip tapering slightly. The two edge petals are three small parts at the thickest part of the center, and two small parts at the root, with the tip gradually tapering. In terms of length, whether for contemplation or creation, the edge of the lotus stamen and the tip of the middle petal should maintain the same distance. The two edge petals are the same length as the middle petal, but the degree of curvature does not reach the tip. The fourth is the wall, meaning the square. From the center of the mandala, measure four large parts outwards, and build a wall with a thickness of one small part, surrounding it in a square. The five lines can also be divided into two types, stacked and mixed, according to the meaning of contemplation. Generally, there is no conflict between the two. But here, according to the Sutra of Secret Buddhas, "The outer is combined with the five jewels." Therefore, the mixed type is adopted. The order can also be determined according to the main deity, from the inside to the outside in the order of red, white, yellow, blue, and green, or red, green, blue, yellow, and white, both of which are not in conflict. They touch each other but do not stick together. The height is not necessarily dependent on the pose, so here, the height of the Eight Horses is three large parts plus one small part, and the height of the Four Horses is two large parts plus three small parts. The fifth is silk
