Furthermore, the first is the branch of outer practice and approach; the second is the branch of inner practice and accomplishment; the third is the branch of secret practice and activity, thus transforming into three aspects. The fourth, which is the placement of the very secret in the mind, is the understanding of the meaning of those perfected in fruition through wisdom, and the cutting of superimpositions through the means of introduction. Therefore, since the outer, inner, and secret are all cherished, they are not counted separately. Secondly, in the detailed explanation of the branches, within the first of the four—outer, inner, secret, and very secret—there is also the outer practice, which has three aspects: brief exposition, detailed explanation, and summary of the meaning. The brief exposition is: "The first is approaching as in the outer manner." The detailed explanation of that also has two aspects: the yoga of meditative equipoise and the yoga of rising from meditation. The first has three aspects: the yoga of body mudras, the yoga of speech recitation, and the yoga of mind luminosity. The first has four aspects: generating the mandala of the aspect of samadhi, accomplishing the mandala of self-nature wisdom, making offerings and praises to the non-dual mandala, and training in the appearance and attachment to the deity, the main object of focus. The first is: "The cause is the three samadhis, the result is the Sugata, the assembly of all deities, all with the support and what is supported, clearly generated as in the ritual text, blessing as body, speech, and mind, and bestowing the empowerment of the five wisdoms." Thus, there are three: the cause is embracing with the three samadhis, the result is generating the mandala of the support and what is supported, blessing and bestowing empowerment. The first is: "Oṃ (藏文:ༀ,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡)! From the beginning, all phenomena of saṃsāra and nirvāṇa!" and so forth is shown. Here, the appearance of the three Oṃ (藏文:ༀ,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡), Āḥ (藏文:ཨཱཿ,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:āḥ,汉语字面意思:阿), and Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) in sequence for guidance is because the path, the three samadhis, and the letters symbolizing the three kāyas to be attained are guiding. Thus, also in the Great Blissful Peaceful Secret Great Kind, the essence of all samadhis is gathered into the three letters: "Oṃ (藏文:ༀ,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡) is the samadhi of suchness, Āḥ (藏文:ཨཱཿ,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:āḥ,汉语字面意思:阿) is the samadhi of all-illuminating, Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) is the samadhi of the cause." And, "The essence of all bodies is gathered into the three letters: Oṃ (藏文:ༀ,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡) causes the attainment of the Dharmakāya, Āḥ (藏文:ཨཱཿ,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:āḥ,汉语字面意思:阿) causes the attainment of the Sambhogakāya, Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) causes the attainment of the Nirmāṇakāya." Elsewhere, in the Explanatory Tantra Vajra Garland, it says, "The letter A, the letter U, the letter Ma, these are called the three."

All three syllables contain three letters, and by connecting them, each three letters shows the essence of the three vajras. As it is said in the "Empowerment of Wisdom Blessing": "The glorious Buddha who holds the body, the indestructible three vajra bodies." That is what is said. That is, by completely showing the path of purifying the object to be purified, namely the three bardos of birth, death, and intermediate state, as a single unit, it can establish a connection that allows the result of purification, namely the three bodies, to be manifested. As the teacher Sangye (Buddha) Secretly said in the "Stages of the Path": "In the way that existence matures in stages, it is placed as five branches of entry. For those who know all things as self-awareness, death is the ultimate truth, birth and the intermediate state are conventional truths. The three stages of birth are the meaning of non-duality." In this regard, first, in the samadhi of suchness, the object to be purified is: In the ashes of the "Illusion Net Tantra" it says: "All sentient beings, when the power of their existence is exhausted, through the sequence of the five aggregates, the residual traces of habit naturally exhaust, and when the clear light emptiness appears, there is no hope or fear, like the sky." Therefore, when sentient beings die, the four elements of earth, water, fire, and wind internally dissolve into consciousness in sequence, and at the same time, the external forms, sounds, smells, tastes, and textures also dissolve into it, the movement of breath ceases, and the pure essence of taste gathers at the upper and lower tips of the nose, and when it dissolves into the object of touch, consciousness dissolves into clear light. The essence of the two aggregates dissolves into Aham (ཨ་ཧཾ,अहम्,aham,I), and the five essences of the heart dissolve into the bindu of the aggregate, thereby stopping the coarse and subtle discriminations, in the manner of clear light emptiness, with the former being purer than the latter, obscuring the gross obstacles through appearance, increase, and attainment. Because the subtle that is nearly attained dissolves, if the truth is not recognized, a reversible, unobscured, clear empty non-conceptual state will appear, which will only appear for a moment. The result of purification is the wisdom that is completely free from elaboration, namely the Dharmakaya of the Buddha. The method of purification is to meditate on all phenomena as empty and selfless. Thus, all phenomena included in impure samsara and pure nirvana are none other than the mind. And the mind is not established by its own nature, therefore it is emptiness that has not been created by anyone from the beginning. Only this, the complete suchness is free from all elaborations such as edge, middle, one, other, etc.
