Like a frog leaping. Mostly abiding in non-conceptuality, occasionally some vague thoughts arise. Sometimes, after an interruption, it returns. This is called the experience of habituation or the experience of mental fatigue. The fourth is, continuing to meditate for a longer time, like a small lake stirred by a gentle breeze, or like pouring water into an iron tube. Mostly abiding in a vast expanse of non-conceptuality, calm, clear, and bright. But sometimes, it is slightly disturbed by strong factors. This is called the stable experience or the experience of being moved by concepts. The fifth is, continuing to meditate diligently, like a great ocean without waves or a great mountain. In a state of non-attachment to objects, the mind is neither scattered nor contracted, clear, bright, and open. No factor can harm it, and it continues to grow. When it is time to let go, act, or stay, one can do so, having attained autonomy. Unless awakened by external factors such as sounds or internal effort, one can maintain each meditation session. This is called the accomplished experience or the experience of having attained autonomy. At these times, sometimes even without thoughts, the mind is not clear, but rather dull, vague, without clarity or strength, and the body becomes sluggish. This is the fault of sinking and dullness mixed in calm abiding. To remedy this, one should exert effort and meditate attentively, so that awareness abides in a clear and bright state. Sometimes, one is distracted by desires, excited by remembering past events, desiring to do future things, feeling regret even for small mistakes, and having many doubts and hesitations about everything. The antidote is to recognize that all phenomena are unreal and illusory, like illusions. To generate renunciation towards excitement and desire. To make firm decisions regarding doubts. Meditating on these antidotes several times can eliminate these problems. Furthermore, in the "Stages of the Guhyagarbha Tantra," it says: "If one continues in this way without doing anything, warmth will arise in body, speech, and mind." Like this, through the power of meditation, one attains complete pliancy of body, speech, and mind, the body feels light and blissful, the speech is gentle, and the breath flows slowly and imperceptibly. The mind dissolves into a state of non-conceptuality, and so on, these things will occur. Second, that stable, ordinary conceptuality, and the signs of sensory consciousness approaching inward reversal, such as mirages and other five signs appear. At that time, from the appearance of bindus, the appearances of other objects cease.

This is the meaning of becoming accustomed to it. That is, with the three immovables, the mind is fixed on the indestructible bindu, and the mind is single-pointed and firm, and its nature is the samadhi of non-discrimination. The difference is that the mind, which is the root of grasping and being grasped, moves depending on the riding of the winds. When the two winds of the sun and moon merge into the central channel, the ordinary discriminations and the attachment of the five sense consciousnesses such as the eye to the five objects such as form are cut off, and they are individually gathered with the meaning of tending to return inward. Furthermore, after the activity of the five sense consciousnesses is blocked, another kind of wisdom of the five senses of the nature of wisdom such as the eye appears. The objects enjoy the other five dharmata such as form and obtain happiness, so they are individually enjoyed or obtained, which is the meaning of holding. In short, it is the meaning of withdrawing the mind from ordinary appearances and entering the appearance of wisdom. In Sanskrit, "Prati" of "Pratyahara" means each, and "Ahara" means timely gathering, abandoning, enjoying, cutting off, obtaining, etc. As the Condensed Kalachakra Tantra says, "Individually gathering in the body, the ten objects and object-holders have no entry." Also, as the Later Collected Tantra says, "Of the ten senses, in all their respective places of entry, because desire is individually withdrawn, it is said to be individual withdrawal." Also, in the Commentary Lamp, it is also explained that the meaning of withdrawal is to repeatedly obtain forms, etc. Therefore, the object of focus is the emptiness free from elaboration, and it has the characteristic of newly obtaining the appearance of empty form that was not previously obtained, which is the same as the meaning of the limb of withdrawal mentioned in other tantras. Furthermore, when the flow of coarse taste slightly stops, as a sign that the winds of the five elements merge into the central channel, five signs will appear, such as mirage-like smoke, sparks, lamplight, and the appearance of a cloudless sky. According to the explanation of the gathering, when the four coarse elements of earth, water, fire, and wind dissolve, the first four signs will appear. Moreover, each also has an inner: a dissolving sequence of five aggregates and five elements. As the Practice Collection says: A multitude endowed with five rays.
