Sa. The future Vajradhara, whoever despises him, because he despises me, he will always abandon all of them. It is said. Offering to the guru is offering to all the Buddhas, so all the sins and obscurations in the disciple's mind stream will be exhausted. From that, it says: In some of these meaningful ones, I dwell in his body, and receive offerings from other practitioners. He is pleased, and he purifies his own mind stream and the obscurations of karma. It is said. Furthermore, as previously explained, the methods of using devotion in connection with the four empowerments should also be understood. In short, the root guru is determined to be the embodiment of all refuge objects, so whatever he does is seen as a skillful means of taming beings; remembering kindness with gratitude; capturing the mind with devotion, thereby being able to transform awareness with intense pain; remembering without forgetting again and again, thereby being able to prevent other ordinary appearances. That is, with strong devotion that has four special qualities, completely abandoning the expectation of "You know what to do," and thereby being able to pray persistently, then blessings will immediately enter, afflictions will suddenly cease, wisdom will descend in an instant, etc., eliminating all faults, and all qualities will naturally appear like the warmth of the season. This is the nature of Dharma. Regarding the way to guide the path of devotion, there are two types: guiding through practice and guiding through prayer. The first is that some very fortunate ones, just by meeting the noble guru, can generate unfeigned devotion, and practice great austerities of body, speech, and mind for the sake of the guru, so that all the qualities of the stages and paths appear simultaneously like the rising sun. The second is that such devotion is rare in this day and age, and most people cannot do austerities, so devotion is gradually guided through prayer. By training the mind in this way, when unfeigned devotion finally arises, the qualities of the path will gradually appear. Therefore, here, contemplate the object to whom one should pray, accumulate merit and pray, receive the four empowerments from the guru's body, and explain the benefits. First, in the sky in front of the residence, which has become a pure land, the self-radiance of the five wisdoms, which is pure, clear, and unobstructed light,

Unattached, upon a precious throne that fulfills all desires, upheld by fearless lions in the midst of strife. Upon a lotus, sun, and moon seat, radiant with inherent light, visualize the root guru, the embodiment of all Buddhas, in the form of the one to be subdued, the Lotus Family, Amitabha, and the subduer of the six realms, the sixth lineage, the subsequent Speech Vajradhara. Also, it is because the guru's kindness is primarily received through the door of speech. Moreover, because of compassionately clinging to sentient beings, the body is red. To symbolize the union of bliss and emptiness as one essence, a vajra and bell are crossed at the heart. Seated in the vajra posture, free from the extremes of samsara and nirvana, adorned with the splendor of marks and signs, and all ornaments of silk and jewels, the body radiates limitless rays of immaculate light. Surrounding are all the lineage gurus, Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, noble Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, deities of the mandala, Dharma protectors, and guardians. Without partiality in compassion and without high or low in wisdom, the mind of the root guru arises as a play of illusion, a manifestation of bliss and emptiness, abiding as if directly perceived in the manner of bestowing blessings. As stated in the Key Instructions: 'The realm of pure, clear, five wisdom lights,' and so forth. Secondly, prostrate with the body and extensively offer actual and mentally created offerings. With a melodious voice, recite: 'To the Buddhas with their sons and retinue,' and so forth. With sincere faith and reverence, imagine transforming oneself into as many particles as there are in the fields, and prostrate, etc., accumulating merit through the seven branches. In sequence, primarily becoming the antidote to pride, attachment, hatred, jealousy, wrong views, ignorance, and doubt, etc., the benefits are immeasurable. As stated in the Sutra Requested by Glorious Subha: 'Whoever, to the Buddhas of the ten directions, with focused palms joined, prostrates and makes offerings in this way, rejoices in virtuous deeds, confesses sins, urges and entreats, that one's accumulation of merit will always fill the sky.' Thus. Then, to allow blessings to enter, make supplications, remembering the qualities and kindness of the guru.
