can be obtained. The third is: Meditate on the Guru Yoga, receive empowerment, practice the lineage, the profound key point. As it says in the Wish-Fulfilling Jewel Tantra: Whoever contemplates the Guru as the deity they desire, and meditates on them at the crown of their head, it is as if they have placed thousands of Buddha mandalas in the palm of their hand and circumambulated the three thousand great thousand worlds. By dissolving them into the heart a thousand times, one can withstand hundreds of thousands of calamities and rain damage. Therefore, always remember to contemplate the glorious Guru as the ornament of the crown chakra. As it is said. The statement above that relying on the noble Guru is the root of the path also refers to keeping the form of the Guru's body, speech, and mind in mind, and focusing on that, continuously practicing yoga with unwavering devotion. This is placing one of the roots of the actual practice of the path, therefore, the secret mantra Vajrayana makes the Guru's blessings the path. Therefore, as it says in the Key Treasury: The essence of all refuges is the Guru. One should enter the path of yoga. As it is said, therefore, in this path of secret mantra Vajrayana, all the qualities of realization must be made the path through the blessings of the noble Guru, so one should engage in meditating on the profound path of Guru Yoga. The Guru is not only the essence of all refuges combined, but all supreme and common accomplishments come from following the noble Guru, and there is no other way. As it says in the Vinaya Source: The Guru is the Buddha, the Guru is the Dharma, likewise, the Guru is the Sangha. And in the root downfall text it also says: Because the Vajra Holder, said that accomplishments follow the teacher. As it is said. Regarding this, according to the level of beings' minds, in the Samputa Tantra it says: The Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, and the Guru is the fourth. There are also instances of viewing the Guru as the fourth jewel. However, in this instance of guiding the mind of devotion, the root Guru, whether an ordinary being or a noble one, must be regarded as the actual Buddha. As it says in the Vajra Mirror Tantra: Vajrasattva, the lord of the mandala, the Guru is equal to all Buddhas. As it is said. In essence, praying to one Buddha is equivalent to praying to all Buddhas, therefore there is no difference between one and many, but there is a difference in the way devotion is entered.

Therefore, do not view the Lama as just one or two Buddhas, but rather as the embodiment of all Buddhas of the ten directions and three times. Since the Lama is the embodiment of all Buddhas, he is also the embodiment of the Dharma and Sangha. The Lama is the Three Jewels, and the Three Jewels are the Lama. As it is said in the Byang from the Guhyasamaja Tantra: "The Lama is the embodiment of the Sugatas, the nature of the Three Jewels." In particular, in our perception, the Lama is more kind than the Three Jewels and all the Buddhas of the ten directions. The Buddhas do not show their faces to me, nor do they speak to me. Even if the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas were to actually appear, they would not have more to offer or teach me than the glorious Lama. Moreover, in this time when we are deprived of the opportunity to see the Rupakaya of the Buddhas and hear their teachings, the Lama creates the conditions for the blessings of the Buddhas to enter our minds and connects us to seeing the Dharmakaya of the Buddhas. This kindness is inconceivable and surpasses all Buddhas. As it is said in the Sutra of Immaculate Sky: "Ananda, the Tathagatas do not appear to all sentient beings, but the spiritual friend appears to all, teaches the Dharma, and plants the seeds of liberation. Therefore, cherish the spiritual friend more than the Tathagatas." Although the Buddhas are skillful in means and possess great compassion, they cannot influence the minds of those to be tamed without the help of the Lama. Moreover, the Buddhas themselves do not arise without a Lama, so it is even more important to rely on a Lama first. As it is said in the Profound Path: "Even if the sun's rays are very hot, fire will not arise without a magnifying glass. Similarly, even if the blessings of the Buddhas are strong, they cannot arise without a Lama." And as it is said in the Gongdü: "Know that the Lama is more important than the Buddhas of a thousand kalpas. Why? Because the Buddhas of a thousand kalpas arise by relying on the Lamas." In particular, the body, speech, and mind of the Vajra Master benefit beings in such a way that all the deities of the mandala follow him. Therefore, if one accumulates negative karma by disrespecting him, it is as if one has accumulated negative karma towards all the Yidam deities, and the fault is very great. As it is said in the Jampe Shalung:
