Complete are the supplication to purify obscurations and the contemplation of the meaning of mantra. The power of the antidote of all-encompassing conduct is visualizing the deity and reciting mantra, and the visualizations for cleansing sins and obscurations. The power of repelling is intense remorse for misdeeds, like having drunk poison. The power of restoration or reversal is the mind of vowing, resolving not to do it again even if it costs one's life. Therefore, if there is no regret, the mind of confession will not arise. Once genuine regret arises, the mind of vow naturally occurs. Finally, if one recites a confession in verse or prose, it also contains these. As in "I, being ignorant and deluded, have transgressed and broken vows," this is admission. And "Guru Protector, please protect!" this is confession. The power of repelling is direct, and the power of reversal is implicitly contained. Even by saying "Please protect!" it implies "From now on, I will not do it again, please take me in," which is the power of restoration. Third, regarding the signs of purification of sins and obscurations, along with their benefits. The signs are flying in the sky, bathing, crossing a great river, pus and blood oozing from the body, vomiting, etc., occurring many times in experience or dreams. Actually, if one's intelligence is clearer than before and one's focus is clearer, and the body is lighter, and faith, compassion, renunciation, etc., have increased greatly, and attachment, hatred, sleepiness, dullness, laziness, etc., have decreased, this is the supreme sign of purification of sins and obscurations. The benefits are, as stated in the sutra: "Whoever has committed sinful deeds, covers them with virtue, like the sun and moon without clouds, is completely clear in this world." This means that from now on, by abandoning sins and striving for virtue as an antidote to past deeds, sins and obscurations will be purified, just as the light of the sun and moon dispels darkness. In particular, the benefit of striving to recite the Hundred Syllable Mantra is also stated in the Stainless Confession Tantra: "If one recites these one hundred and eight times at one time, all breakages and deficiencies will be fulfilled, and one will be liberated from the obscurations of karma that cause one to fall into the lower realms. In this life, too, the Tathagatas will regard one as a noble son and protect and guard one, and after death, one will become the eldest son of the Sugatas, this is certain." Thus it is said. The second is, accumulating merit.

Therefore, those Bodhisattvas The actual accumulations to be gathered as the cause for attaining Buddhahood are the two accumulations of merit and wisdom. The Ornament of the Sutras states: "The accumulations of Bodhisattvas, merit and wisdom are incomparable. One causes manifest high increase in samsara, the other revolves without afflictions. Giving and discipline are the accumulations of merit, wisdom is the accumulation of wisdom. The other three are parts of both, all five are also the accumulation of wisdom." As it is said, the accumulation of merit is giving and discipline, the accumulation of wisdom is wisdom. The other three have parts of both merit and wisdom. In patience, not minding harm and enduring suffering is merit. Patience with definite thought for the Dharma is mainly the accumulation of wisdom. In diligence, striving separately for the two accumulations is two kinds of diligence. In meditation, the distinction of focusing on conventional and ultimate truth is the accumulation of merit and wisdom. When it is seized by the Perfection of Wisdom, the other five perfections are also the accumulation of wisdom, so all also become the accumulation of wisdom. Just as the five, such as giving, are the accumulation of merit, the fruit of merit also increases from the Perfection of Wisdom, so there is a time when it turns into the accumulation of merit. Therefore, all six are both merit and wisdom, so the two accumulations are established as one from the door of actual practice or essence. Among the two accumulations, the special fruit of merit is: When the sons of the Victorious Ones abide in samsara and do the benefit of beings, they obtain the laws of manifest high increase that have power in the practice of benefiting others, and ultimately benefit sentient beings through the door of the two form bodies. The special fruit of wisdom is: Temporarily, when acting in samsara for the benefit of beings, there is no affliction and one enters the wisdom of skillful means, and ultimately accomplishes the Dharmakaya for one's own benefit. Especially in this preliminary stage, one must strive to accumulate the two accumulations through the door of the mandala. Although the actual method of accumulating accumulations is the yoga of the three vajras, unless there is a special backing of previous accumulations, if there is no basis for accumulating virtuous accumulations in one's own mindstream, although there is a habit of virtue,
