One should strive to adopt the means of counteracting it. So, how does delusion arise from the state of reality that is originally unbound and unfreed? In response, the Compendium Sutra states: All sentient beings, inferior, middling, and supreme, Are all born from ignorance, as stated by the Sugata. When causes gather, the wheel of suffering arises intensely. This wheel of ignorance neither diminishes nor increases. As it is said. Like gold and the rust on gold, coemergent ignorance does not recognize itself. Like mistaking a white conch for yellow, imputational ignorance grasps duality in nonduality, holding it in a reversed manner. Thus, due to the influence of delusion, one freely engages in actions and afflictions, experiencing various sufferings of samsara, and leaves these imprints on the mindstream. Therefore, what is called the alaya-consciousness, the basis of all seeds, is the state of mind with defilements. Furthermore, one should also understand the delusion of wrongly inferring philosophical tenets, and the delusion of entering the path of practice. Thus, when the five degenerations are rampant, it is said to be the field for taming. There are two perspectives on this, namely, the field of taming oneself through realization, recognizing the dualistic clinging of conceptual thought, which is the way of combining with the inner field. Second, recognizing the objects to be tamed, and the faults of not taming them. First, here, the directly shown should be combined with the outer field: When the five degenerations of time, beings, lifespan, actions, and afflictions are rampant, since the wicked beings to be tamed are very prevalent, it is necessary to tame them with manifest actions. Moreover, the mantra practitioner who is highly skilled in the confidence of view, the experience of meditation, and the conduct of the means of taming, with immeasurable great compassion, the fields to be tamed are of ten kinds, which are they? Those who revile and abandon the Three Jewels, especially the enemies of the Three Jewels who harm the teachings; the enemies who despise and harm the Vajra Master; those who break the secret mantra vows; those who hold perverse and evil views; those who quarrel with Dharma brothers; those who, though not suitable to participate in gatherings, fraudulently join the ranks of secret practices; those who harm all sentient beings from the depths of their hearts.

That is to say, the seven kinds of human support that engage in the powerful evil karma that causes suffering, and the three evil destinies that experience the unbearable fruit of suffering on top of that, counting these three separately, are the ten fields. So, why mention "etc."? Because the cruel ones not only include those human supports, but also the evil spirits who harm the Dharma and sentient beings, etc., they are also separated out and summarized. Therefore, these ten are the fields that must be liberated by the karma of manifest action. Therefore, yogis should not have worldly love and wrong views towards these cruel ones, and should not even immediately practice patience. As it is said in the Six-Faced Tantra: "For the cruel ones, one should do the reversal, through objects or mantras and others, through mandalas and samadhi, or through medicine. If you don't do that, his vows will definitely be violated." Here some say: "The karma of manifest action is done by those who are obtained through patience and who can kill and save through samadhi, and others who do it will be at fault." If so, then it becomes meaningless to do it through objects, medicine and mandalas, because it should only be done through samadhi. Therefore, the confident mantra practitioner should aim at what will surely become a great meaning to perform the action of manifest conduct, because it does not depend on the wisdom of realization and habituation, and there is no slightest harm to the meaning, so it will not be contaminated by one's own faults, and it will become a companion on the path, and by reversing the evil karma of the one to be liberated, it will benefit them by raising them from one higher state to another, thus perfecting the benefit of oneself and others, and by destroying the names of the cruel ones, it will also become a cause for protecting and promoting the benefit and happiness of the Dharma and beings. Second, when it is possible to liberate these evil fields such as the enemies of the Three Jewels and the Guru, but one does not liberate them, then such evil karma cannot be reversed by other means. Therefore, the darkness of wrong views will greatly increase, they will fall into a painful state for a long time, and the teachings of the Sugata will also
