He also listened to all the empowerments, transmissions, and instructions. Moreover, at the incarnation of Dorje Drak Rigdzin, based on the painted root mandala that gathers twenty-seven mandalas, he listened in detail to all the empowerments, instructions, and oral transmissions through the empowerment ritual "Precious Garland," and was given the dual secret name "Unchanging Vajra Power." Because the connection of aspirations was awakened, the manner in which the profound treasures descended was: At the age of eighteen, on the tenth day of the fifth month of the Water Rabbit year, he extracted "Rigdzin Thug Thig" from Yarma Lung; at the age of twenty-two, on the eighth day of the sixth month of the Fire Sheep year, he extracted "Subduing the Arrogance of the Lord of Death" from Shel Drak through miraculous displays; at the age of thirty-one, on the fifteenth day of the Tiger month of the Fire Dragon year, he extracted the "Guru Drakdor Sem Ati" cycle from Okar Drak; at the age of thirty-five, on the twenty-ninth day of the eleventh month of the Iron Monkey year, he extracted the Dharma cycle of "Great Compassion, Peaceful and Wrathful Ones Gathered" as a public treasure from Sha-ug Tiger Gate. And before and after those, whenever appropriate, in the miraculous great places of accomplishment such as Drakmar Chimphu and Yarma Lung, as well as in the private chambers of the new and old monasteries, and in solitary places such as the retreat hut Odsel Tse and Samten Tse, he engaged in retreats lasting years, six months, three months, and one month, and so on. He practiced the recitation and accomplishment of about thirty-five deities, such as the peaceful and wrathful Guru, Vajrasattva, Kagyé, Great Compassion, Yangphur, Yamantaka, Hayagriva, and Khechari, and condensed the practice of Great Perfection Trekchö into its essence. He also practiced Tögal and Tummo according to the timing and circumstances. Therefore, he gained stability in the generation stage, which prevents impure appearances, and the four activities were accomplished without any hindrance. In the perfection stage, the movement of the channels, winds, and bindus was purified in dhūtar (Sanskrit Devanagari: धूतर्, Sanskrit Romanization: dhūtar, Chinese literal meaning: cleansing), and the wisdom of bliss-emptiness blazed in all directions. The realization of Great Perfection, self-appearing non-duality, arose, and the clinging to subject and object was naturally dissolved. All of samsara and nirvana were awakened in the groundless, rootless, equal, vast, and all-pervading great expanse. He gained mastery over the samadhi of equal after-effects, non-duality, and the luminous sphere. All appearances and experiences arose as the play of wisdom, and he became one with the great teacher Padmasambhava, Vimalamitra, Hūṃ mdzad (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ maker), Sangye Sangwa, Vairochana, M

Tsogyal, Nyangrel, Kunkhyen Chöje, and many other Indian and Tibetan scholars manifested the wisdom body, displaying the mandala of emanation. They bestowed empowerments of numerous Kama and Terma, including self-arisen treasures, and fully explained all the key points of the profound path's instructions. Moreover, many yidam deities such as Vajrakumara, Vajrasattva, Yangdak, the Great Compassionate Peaceful and Wrathful One, and Yogini also revealed their faces, bestowing empowerments and blessings. They traveled to many pure lands such as Sukhavati and the Copper-Colored Mountain, gaining mastery over the samadhi that pervades all realms. Dakinis and Dharma protectors were subservient to their commands, accomplishing activities without obstruction and giving prophecies, etc., with endless wondrous visions. Possessing unobstructed direct perception, they prophesied changes of the times, etc., which later came to pass, revealing many reasons for faith, and thus, I will not elaborate further. Furthermore, up to the age of thirty-one, the seeds of maturation previously planted in their mindstream gradually increased, and the experience of the vase empowerment, all external appearances were established as clear emptiness, like illusion. Therefore, most of the time was spent engaging in activities for the benefit of others through the body. Traveling to various places in the north and south, such as Shodchen and Kyilung, merely seeing the mandala of their body planted the seeds of liberation in the minds of countless unbiased disciples, thus bringing samsara to an end. At the age of thirty-two, starting from the fourth month of the Fire Snake year (no specific year), the experience of the secret empowerment, self-awareness dawned as clear emptiness, and the apprehended and apprehender dissolved into the dharmadhatu. Therefore, the main focus was on engaging in activities for the benefit of others through speech. They continuously turned the wheel of profound and vast Dharma for the fortunate assemblies of high, middle, and low levels. At the age of thirty-eight, starting from the eleventh month of the Water Pig year (no specific year), through the path of messengers, the wisdom of meaning exemplified by bliss and emptiness, the experience of the four innate, unchanging joys arising in the mindstream gradually increased, therefore, most of the time was spent engaging in activities for the benefit of others through mind. Thereafter, although they generally taught the Dharma without sectarian bias, they especially focused on planting and ripening the instructions of profound key points in the mindstreams of disciples.
