When he went hunting, he met Je Sangye Yeshe (Sangs-rgyas ye-shes) who was residing near a black juniper tree in Nar (snar). When asked about his clan, he replied that he was from the Nub (gnubs) clan. He said, "We two were father and son in a previous life, and the clan is the same. There is also a karmic connection with the Dharma." So he initiated him into the Dharma. He gave him all the empowerments, transmissions, instructions, and the task of protecting the teachings completely, so that all the essence of the teachings and the heart's core descended. In particular, he became proficient in thirty-five special Dharma categories. Especially in the previous secret rock cave, he completely bestowed the four rivers of empowerment, entrusted eighteen empowerment manuals, and gave the lineage of empowerment kings as a sign of empowerment. As a reward, he received the upper affairs three times, offering white jade, radiant bearskin, a black stallion, silk clothes, various material possessions, and countless medicines. His secret name became known as Dorje Detsal (rdo rje gter bzhad rtsal) or Dorje Rigdzin De (rdo rje rig 'dzin gter). Furthermore, his brother in a previous life, the Indian master Dhanada (དྷ་ན་དྷ་ལ, Devanagari: धनद, Romanization: Dhanada, Literal meaning: Wealth Giver), who was proficient in twenty-one languages and had attained the immortal vidyadhara, knew through clairvoyance that his younger brother was born in a village called Gerongben (grong ban) in Gachung Rong (dga' chung rong). In order to benefit him, he arrived in Rong in one night with swift feet, and bestowed profound and numerous teachings and wrathful mantras such as Yama's executioner, red and black. Also, an Indian named Chandrakirti gave explanations. He practiced in Kulung Khardong (khu lung mkhar gdong) and other places, realizing the supreme accomplishment, the meaning of dharmata, and the stainless direct perception arose. He gained control over the elements, saw the faces of many commitment deities, and subjugated the oath-bound ones. Because of Je's arrogant demeanor, eight self-killing executioners were sent, but he manifested a hundred emanations identical to himself and subdued them, and so on. Because signs of magical powers and wrathful mantras appeared, he protected the teachings and gained power. As the prophecy above said, "He will entrust it to a bodhisattva of the second ground." Je Yonten Gyatso (yon tan rgya mtsho) passed this lineage to his son Yeshe Gyatso (ye shes rgya mtsho), who was prophesied to be on the second ground. In general, Yonten Gyatso had three groups of lineage sons: early, middle, and late. The three sons of the early group were driven out to three fences because they broke their vows to the lama. After that, Glen Dorje (glan rdo rje)

ebar took Soma Lek as his wife, and they had an elder brother Yeshe Gyatso, a younger brother Pema Wangyal, and a sister Utpal Dron, who were the middle generation. Later, he took Dagram Pal's wife, and two sons of the later generation were born, the younger of whom, Rozen Nagpo, accomplished the tradition of rising corpses. Among his descendants were Tropu Lotsawa and others. Thus, among the six sons, the most outstanding were the two sons of the middle generation. The elder brother, Yeshe Gyatso, accumulated merit in his previous life and was accustomed to patience, so he had an outstanding appearance and a gentle heart, making him pleasing to everyone. He was extremely respectful to his lama, serving him with body, speech, and mind in every way that pleased him. His wisdom and diligent practice were outstanding, and he understood the lama's intentions, so he was enthroned as the master of all tantras, agamas, and instructions. The essence of all empowerment treasures was poured into him, and he possessed all the teachings that his father had, as if a full vase were emptied. In particular, in Khulung Kharlung, he was granted the empowerment of the Four Rivers. His secret name was Dorje Wangdrub Tsal. Through the completion of recitation and practice, he realized the meaning of the supreme accomplishment of reality. He saw the faces of many yidam deities. He was able to show others his body as the mandala of the deities. He enslaved all the oath-bound spirits. All non-humans offered their life essence. He was able to immediately show signs in any activity, so he gained power and ability. The younger brother, Pema Wangyal, accomplished Yamari. The Yama of Karma offered his life essence. In U, he planted a sengdeng stake in the water of the sewage, and in just one day it grew into a stump as tall as a person. He also killed nine powerful Bonpos at the same time, and so on. He had unobstructed power and strength in wrathful activities, which no one could match. It is also said in colloquial language: "Jampal Shenyen is willing to accept the burning mountain of fire. Dhana Dhala translated it into Tibetan. Yontan Gyatso holds it in his hands. Pema Wangyal is the one who relies on practice." It is said that Yeshe Gyatso had many disciples, but the most outstanding were Nyang Sherab Chok, who received the transmission of illusion and mind, and Jangchub Namsung, who received the transmission of sutra. He granted these three the complete empowerment of the Four Rivers in Khulung Khardong, and offered Gyaton Lodro Jangchub as a reward.
