Although not explicitly stated in the scriptures, it is just a slight distinction. What is the standard for the thread? It is one-fifth of a small part. In the Heruka (Tibetan: ཧེ་རུ་ཀ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हेरुक, Sanskrit Romanization: Heruka, Chinese literal meaning: Blood-Drinking Deity) Tantra, it says, "The thickness is one-twentieth of the door." The shape of the bulge is like a small eave protruding outward from a truncated corner by one small part. Here, some ancient people say, "The lower truncated corner is slightly raised, like the upper part of a corridor, and the upper truncated corner is like a bird's wing. The lower bulge is like a throne in the four directions of the truncated corner, and the upper bulge is like four peaks on top of a bird's wing." They say this. To this, later masters and scholars say, "The outer layer of the mandala (Tibetan: དཀྱིལ་འཁོར, Sanskrit Devanagari: मण्डल, Sanskrit Romanization: Maṇḍala, Chinese literal meaning: Altar) center, which is a circle, is divided by the banners of the four directions, thus forming truncated corners of varying lengths on the four corners, that is what it really means. There is no reason for the lower truncated corner to be slightly raised like the upper part of a corridor. It is even more impossible for the truncated corner covered by the roof of the upper palace to appear. If the lower bulge is like a throne, then who would sit there?" and so on. Is it possible for the upper bulge to be like peaks piled on top of a bird's wing?" and so on. Here, it is easy to understand that the porch protrudes outward, with a gap of two small parts between it and the wall of the palace. This seems to be the fault of not having seen the visualized mandala. They made many debates. Although it is correct to refute the views of the upper truncated corner and the upper bulge, even so, in the words of these scholars, these serious errors of contradicting the scriptures can be seen. Like the Shiwachenpo (Śamatha-vipassanā) collection, which has no middle corridor, it is necessary to erect pillars that support the round vase-like protrusions from the circumference of the wheel. Below, there are bulges protruding from the Vajra garland, and in order to facilitate the passage of the door, it is necessary to remove about two small parts inward from the edge of a quarter of a large part in order to surround the outer circumference of the spokes. Therefore, on the short side of the corridor, the golden beams and round beams are almost touching each other. Because of this, on top of the round beams, the round vase-like wall and two ornaments will touch each other in the center of the short side, so the four corners of the top and bottom

Because the eaves themselves have become shorter, and in the "Secret Perfection Great Yoga Stages of Meditation," it says, "As a symbol of conquering the battlefield of samsara and subduing the four maras, victory banners are erected on the four eaves." The victory banner mentioned is also because the time for installing it inside has passed, and because of the fault that others consider it to be like bird wings, and because Tangwa (a person's name) has not refuted that refutation, and because building a pavilion on top of bird wings is not something that would happen here, but it is not impossible in principle, because the Samye Monastery (approx. 775 AD) and other temples appear that way, especially since there is no need for the lower eaves to be slightly higher like the upper part of the hall. If that were the case, it would be unreasonable for the "Sparkhab" to say, "The order of doors and so on." And if it is unreasonable to consider the lower "bulges" and so on to be like thrones, then the "Raging Lightning" says, "The bulges of the five eyes are beautiful, Vajrapani is blue." And the "Small Commentary" says, "On the four bulges, there are the forms of the lineage fathers and mothers embracing." It would be unreasonable to say that the four inner minds are placed on the bulges, and if you think that only the bulges of the four doors remain, then in the meditation stages of the "Medium Peaceful Gathering of Bliss," it says, "Because everything is complete in one wisdom, the eaves will become castles and bulges." And the "Eye Sutra Commentary" says, "Because of the four roots, they appear as bulges." It is contradictory to say that there are bulges there because of the four spokes of the wheel, and the "Line Measurement Sutra" also says, "Bulge small part, two porticos." In this way, the bulge of the gatehouse has only one small part, and it would become that there are no two small parts, which contradicts the statement that there are two small parts. Also, in the commentary of Je Drol and Yung, it says, "From the perspective of the root tantra, there are four empty rooms without deities." But the "Small Commentary" says that there are deities, and since that is a commentary on the root tantra, it is not seen as reasonable. Therefore, regarding the meaning of the bulges, most of the ancient people only spoke of one aspect, so there was a forced interpretation. I think like this: In the "Great Essence of Play Tantra," it says, "The supreme wisdom jewel, with twenty-five symbols, adorns one's own mandala." And the "Eye Sutra
