Ground: Even though it is derived from the word "Vedika (藏文,梵文天城体,vedika, altar)," it is because it has the meaning of including edges, railings, altars, and steps. There is no clear indication for making a small raised part. In the "Guru's Intentions," it says, "The height is two cubits." As the commentary says, the height of pillars, etc., can also be estimated by the posture of a horse. Therefore, here it is defined as two small parts. Furthermore, in the "Explanation Tantra Mirror," it says, "Half-moon Vajra Desire." In the "Great Tantra of the Play of Essence," it says, "Half-moon Vajra Fearless Power, Desire Goddesses gather in all directions." At the door frame of the desire mandala, and in the southeast and other directions, half-moon Vajras are placed. In the four directions, goddesses of form, etc., are placed. Their forms are: White Lāsyemā holding a mirror, Red Gītamā holding a lute, Blue Dhūpemā holding an incense conch, Yellow Ālokemā holding a bowl filled with food, White Sparśemā holding a celestial garment, Pañcalika. The tantra only mentions these five goddesses. In the "Vajra Sequence," it also says, "Form, etc., are the five offerings." Therefore, that is sufficient, but elsewhere, in the "Meaning of Dharma," it says, "On the enjoyment desire mandala cloth, there are beautiful forms, melodious sounds, excellent fragrances, delicious tastes, and pleasing dharmas. The goddesses rejoice and play." As the sutra says, Dharmadhātu Mother holds the Dharma source, and these, during visualization, gather in all directions. As the "Garland of Light" says, "Goddesses of form, etc., gather, with various offerings and musical instruments, the entire space realm is like a cloud gathering." Third, the parapet: Some say that the parapet is located outside the desire mandala, in the form of a small iron. But here, in the "Meaning of Dharma," it says, "Place the parapet on the outer top." In the "Garland of Light," it says, "On top of the accumulation of wisdom, adorn with lion heads, from the fearless mouth, a pearl necklace, the parapet has beautiful decorations." As the sutra says, on top of the wall, the base of the parapet is yellow and decorated with jewels, in the form of "bad." The lion head is in the form of a supporting "bad peg," carved at the end. So, for the school that does not want the five walls to be stacked from bottom to top, the base of its mandala cloth is red; for the school that wants to stack it into five layers, then it is stacked.

Although it is said that the rosary is colored in the first part, why is it made yellow here? In the seventh chapter of the important Heruka ritual, it says, "Desire is red, while the Pa gu is yellow." Moreover, in the accomplishment method of the Hevajra Hundred Families, it also says, "The chamber of desire is red, and the precious Pagu is yellow." It is said that this also appears in the Śrāddha's treatise. The word "Kanahara" of the lion's head refers to necklaces and rosaries, so it is a hanging pearl rosary. Here, it is permissible not to make it a half necklace, because the word "ardhahāra" does not appear. Fourth, the position of the net and half net is: above the Pagu, there are measuring vessels, piles, or short pillars, and the golden pillars supported by them are easy to understand. Above each short pillar, four small parts of the bow and beam protruding outward are installed, and gold threads are wrapped around them, meeting each other, which are called four golden belts. Regarding the net and half net, others believe that the heads of makara fish hang from the first two belts. But here, according to the Dharma meaning: "The wall decoration, the cīpatra at the top of the chamber, from its mouth emits precious rosaries, becoming net and half net." Therefore, if the outer side and half height of the cushions hanging on the golden pillars are aligned with the golden belts, then the nets and half nets emitted from the mouths of the cīpatras placed at the ends of the cushions will hang on the outside of the gold threads, almost touching the Pagu. Among them, the net is a precious rosary connecting the mouths of the cīpatras and hanging in a curved shape; the half net is like the ten-digit mark of a rosary, hanging down from the center of the mouth, with a large gem at the top. In addition, fly whisks with jeweled handles, and bells with sun, moon, and fly whisk wind-moving devices at the ends should also be made as appropriate. As it is said in the Raudra Vidyut: "The excellent decoration of that palace, the sun and moon jewels shine brightly, banners, victory banners, clothes, umbrellas, silk necklaces, pearl strings, bells, and fly whisks, etc., decorated with various musical instruments." These decorations can also be used elsewhere as appropriate, but most of them are placed here. Also, by Lhaje and others...
