Although it is said that it is necessary, I have not seen the teachings of the marginal lineage in the examples of the tantras I have seen, so it is not certain whether they exist or not. Even if they exist, there is no fault. Because in the explanation of the Nyi Seng's teachings, it is quoted as saying, "The cross vajra is located between the earth and the immeasurable wheel." Therefore, even on the side where the cross vajra exists, it is obscured by the spokes of the wheel and cannot be seen. The meaning of the lama's teachings is not like that, because if it were, saying cross vajra would be too much. Also, some think like this: Abhaya said that the lotus and the cross vajra are skillful means and wisdom, so if the lotus exists, the cross vajra must also exist, which is harmful. This fault does not occur, as said before, because they believe that the cross vajra is located below the wheel. Even on the side that does not think so, the lotus and the wheel will become skillful means and wisdom. Likewise, in the intermediate practice manual of the Hevajra generation and completion stages, it says: Above it, the wheel of skillful means burns with a thousand spokes, below it, the lotus of wisdom spreads with a thousand petals. Like this, the lower lotus and the tent wheel are both said to be skillful means and wisdom. So, in the aspect of making variegated vajras, how is it done? The center of the variegated vajra is square, with a width of twelve large parts in the east-west direction and a height of one large part. The horns that protrude from it are: the central horn is thick, with one large part, and the tip is two small parts; the two horns on the left and right are three small parts thick, and the tip gradually becomes thinner. In terms of length, the central horn depends on the three-tiered, two-tiered, and one-tiered horse landing thresholds, etc., and there are four large parts, three, and two, etc., which are not fixed. The two horns on the left and right are the same length as the central horn, but the degree of curvature does not reach the tip. Third, on the walls, there are seven types: walls, desire curtains, father pillars, half nets, bird wings, beams, and corner pillars. The first type has two methods: stacking five lines from top to bottom, and mixing inside and outside. Either way, there is no contradiction. The first is, as said in the Vajra Sequence, "The method of stacking wisdom jewels in sequence." Most of the former scholars thought this way. The second is, as said in the Dharma Meaning, "The outside mixes five jewels." And as the lama said, "Everything outside is said to be black." And the Hevajra

It is said, "Starting from the earth, the end of everything is surrounded by green." Some early practitioners like Tsaktsa, and most later practitioners like Drolchen and his son, also consider it to be a combination. Therefore, at the position of the door, because the latter is more convenient, here too, a combination of inner and outer is temporarily adopted. The order of colors for the Pañca-rekhā (five lines) is as follows: In the Heruka Abhisamaya, it says, "Blue, white, yellow, and red, the end of everything is green." And in the Sādhanā of the Hevajra Root Hundred Deities, it says, "The wall is the distinction of the lineages." According to these statements, on a small part of moderate thickness, the five lines, mainly according to their primary colors, are sequentially blue, white, yellow, red, and green from the inside out, arranged in a way that they touch each other but do not stick. Furthermore, some other texts state that none of the five lines should touch each other. To this, some say that it is not appropriate to leave gaps in the space of a small part. However, this small part is a full cubit of the main part, and a barleycorn is one hundred and eighth of it, so there is no problem. Regarding the height, it is reasonable to divide it into three sizes—large, medium, and small—depending on the height of the horse landing, three-doored, two-doored, and one-doored structures. If only one direction is determined, there is no basis. Therefore, here, according to the medium size, it is divided into thirteen small parts. Secondly, regarding the two ways of having it on top of the wall and on the outer edge, the first one, like the mirror-like Sādhanā and the Sādhanā of the Forty-Two Peaceful Deities of Hevajra, both agree in word and meaning: "On the completely encircling edge, various musical instruments are like clouds." Although it seems to be done in imitation of these statements, the intention of this scripture is not so, so it is not appropriate. The reason is that in the Vajra Peak Sutra, it says, "On the outside of the completely encircling, there is a true Vajra edge." Here, the felt is called the edge, and it is said to be outside the mandala. Furthermore, the inner deity felt is also called the edge, and it is also said that the door is separated from the edge, etc., because there are many contradictions. The second one, the idea that the outer surface of the wall exists in the form of a ledge is good, as the Sādhanā of the Hevajra Root Hundred Deities says, "The part of enjoying the edge." And in the meditation text of the Wrathful Youthful Play, it also says, "The outer red desire offerings surround in the form of a ledge."
