For example, the four great realizations that understand the subsequent are the reasons for understanding the object to be proven, which is luminosity. Moreover, focusing and so on are also the reasons or arguments for the existence of special individuals, because they are the limbs of the establisher, so the similar conditions in the argument are generated by discrimination, like a mere imputation. Other schools' four-body retinues, such as the sons of the perfect path, also have various subtle attachments that need to be cut off, so they are said to be genuine arguments. Lotsawa Dharmashri said: In the perfect path, there are also subtle cognitive obscurations, and there is attachment as if to external objects, so the argument is also in accordance with the definition. In accordance with this, the meaning of the four-body retinue and the way of teaching the Dharma, or the people of the perfect path, in the self-appearing Akanishta, as the retinue of the Sambhogakaya adorned with marks and examples, actually become the retinue of the Dharmakaya and the three Vajra Abhisambodhis. Obtaining the realization corresponding to the Dharmakaya is the retinue of the Ocean of Wisdom; obtaining the realization similar to the Vajra and Abhisambodhi bodies is the Vajra retinue and the retinue of the Ocean of Conquerors. Is it spoken by distinguishing the reverse in this way? I think that in the path of learning, sentient beings have karmic obscurations, so they cannot directly see the Wisdom Dharmakaya. The Trikaya is the same in the sense of aggregation, the three are inseparable in essence, and from the aspect of the difference of reverse, only the Vajra and Abhisambodhi bodies are established, and there is nothing else besides that, so it cannot be said that the teachers are different. The meaning of Vajra speech and so on is also, abiding in the intention of the teacher's Trikaya being inseparable, the realization of the lineage meaning of the retinue of the perfect path reaches the ultimate, and the abandonment and realization of the mind are inseparable. It is only that the terminology used in expressing it in words is different, and the meaning is the same as the Conqueror's Intent Transmission. The reason for making the Intent Transmission an argument is also, within the scope of Jowo Sakya's own observation of reality, generally speaking, at this time of the path of liberation, due to the sharpness of the faculties, only the generation stage is given priority, and the methods of striking the vital points of oneself and others are not used in advance, but only relying on argument to obtain the realization of the completion stage.

Although the New School does not accept introducing new elements, they adhere to their own system. The reason for being able to introduce it in this way is: this is not a statement directed at just anyone; rather, this path is intended for disciples with exceptionally sharp wisdom, hence the path of liberation is called the path of wisdom. Such a sharp-minded individual, relying solely on severing the three aspects of reasoning—the root, the line, and the wind—can cut through the proliferation of clinging appearances. By the power of severing the primary factor of obscuration and hindrance, one can nakedly see and symbolically express the primordial state of being that transcends the mind—clear light. Therefore, the emphasis here is on reasoning alone. For disciples with wisdom, it is permissible to enter clear light through the characteristics of reasoning. Moreover, for some exceptionally sharp individuals, lacking the characteristics of reasoning, merely the vajra master's pointing of mind, such as the five realities of previous lives, and the reasoning of the five symbolic methods, or a special yogi who has already realized clear light, without being instructed by anyone else, any appearance of the five meanings can symbolize or awaken the reality. For example, if a slight sign of impermanence arises internally, there is no instance where the teaching of external impermanence is not shown. In this way, one aspect of the five-sentence reasoning, merely by mentioning the beginning of the sentence, can sever the clinging appearance to the object to be refuted, thereby clearly and symbolically expressing the object to be established—the wisdom of one's own nature. Just like the ultimate path, the buddhas' pointing of mind has become reasoning, and this statement also exists in this way. Therefore, this method of liberation shown through sharp wisdom, as mentioned above, can be realized through the category of means. Because the ways in which clear light arises are different, one realizes the object to be realized—clear light itself—through the means that cause manifestation, in a way that the category can substitute for reasoning. Regarding this, through the special place—the lama, the special sharp-minded disciple, the order of the swift path and the special path, not only is it the combination of means, but also merely the similarity of the cause or reasoning, one can realize naked clear light, and gain certainty about this. Therefore, by fully stating the reasoning, one can realize the object to be established, let alone realize clear light merely by relying on reasoning, thereby cutting off the wrong view that one will not realize clear light, and gaining certainty.
