It is under the control of the capable. As the Three Categories of Lamps says: "If one is not confused about a single meaning, with many methods and no difficulties, because of being controlled by sharp faculties, the view of mantra is particularly superior." Also, as the Lasso of Means says: "This great secret mantra is extremely wonderful, among paths it is the supreme shortcut, among methods it is the supreme unerring, among wisdoms it is the particularly superior wisdom." Also, as the Stages of the Path says: "Among the unsurpassable vehicles, in terms of ultimate truth, there is no difference, but in terms of conventional truth, all are held as both pure and impure. The great vehicle of means, both purification and suffering, in terms of conventional truth, are also without difference, but the view is only that of high and low." So forth. Secondly, the definition is: from the word dṛṣṭi (Sanskrit Devanagari: दृष्टि, Sanskrit Romanization: dṛṣṭi, Chinese literal meaning: seeing), there is dṛśi (Sanskrit Devanagari: दृशि, Sanskrit Romanization: dṛśi, Chinese literal meaning: seeing), which means seeing. It is established by the root meaning, therefore it is said to be seeing. It means to see the meaning of reality with the eye of wisdom, therefore it is said to be seeing. Thirdly, the classification is: for those with superior faculties, it is to be realized by reasoning. As the King Ja's Path Ornament says: "Having thus explained the three aspects, what is seen is the eye of wisdom, it also abandons direct perception and others, it is not merely clinging to words and meanings, it is not an object, self-awareness is truly inseparable, the depths of the mind are the object of direct perception." So forth. For those with intermediate faculties, it is to be realized by relying on the sign of nature or result. As the Opening the Eye of Wisdom says: "Initially, by one's own awareness, the arising of miraculous appearances, directions, colors, and so on, are indicated, and the suchness is realized." As it is said. Thus, this impure vessel and essence of appearance is also naturally established as the result from the beginning, as a sign that it is the miracle of self-awareness, without anyone making it, it appears as places, colors, and so on. As the Chapter on the Samaya of the Five Families of the Explanatory Tantra says: "The five colors and the five objects, and so on, are originally the samadhi of the five families." So forth. The sign of the result is: the result relies on the mandala of the support and the supported, and represents the meaning, causing it to be realized. As the former says: "Moreover, like the mandala of perfect wisdom, the support and the supported, and so on." So forth. For those with inferior faculties, there are two types, near and far. The near is: it cannot be understood by the wisdom of little hearing and thinking.

For those of dull faculties, it is not without means. From the aspect of body, through the key points of symbolic methods such as mudras; from the aspect of speech, through the collection of mantras; and from the aspect of mind, through special samadhi, the meaning of the tantras can be realized. As it was said before, "For the inferior, with the steps of the three seals, relying on them, one sees permanence and cessation, and the entry of wind. It should be shown as the path of meditation. There is no doubt about gradual arising." Furthermore, those who manifest quickly, like the accomplished master Xingkiba, a disciple of the teacher Slu-sgrub; those who manifest slowly, as stated in the commentary on the Fifty Verses on the Guru, "If not merely accumulating causes, it is said in the tantra, if one writes the nature of dependent arising, one will realize the ultimate meaning of the nature of reality." Thus, for those individuals who cannot realize it in this life, by writing the essence of dependent arising dharani and placing it in a stupa, reciting it and circumambulating the stupa, they will be able to realize it in future lives. Furthermore, those who realize it directly in this life, like the guru of Je Tsongkhapa, Dondrup Rinpoche. Secondly, regarding conduct, there are also three aspects: First, the essence is, whatever actions of body, speech, and mind of the practitioners become the object of practice, that is conduct. Second, the definition is, derived from the word "Carya," which means conduct. It is the activity of practicing mantra conduct in relation to time, in order to make the three doors of body, speech, and mind meaningful. As it is said in the root text, "From the actions of the three doors, the definition is established." Third, the classification has two aspects: the time of conduct, and the things to be practiced. First, the time of conduct is, after rising from meditative equipoise, one practices by viewing all phenomena of subsequent attainment as unreal illusions, and practices without attachment or clinging to anything. Second, the things to be practiced are further divided into general conduct and specific conduct. The first is, for individuals, when practicing for the first time, one practices with mindfulness, like the conduct of a young novice monk. Classifying this, one abandons all unfavorable conditions, such as the eight worldly concerns and all blameworthy actions, and enters into favorable pure conduct. As it is said in the explanatory tantra of Guhyasamaja, the Vajrasekhara Tantra, "Until stability is attained, there should be no dust of blameworthy actions, and one should abide in the three vows."
