It is called "Commentary on the Liberation Treatise." These two truths, although different when considered from the perspective of mere conventional appearance, are in reality inseparable and exist as one entity when considered from the perspective of the ultimate nature of reality. As it is said in the Bodhicitta Commentary: "Just as the nature of molasses is sweetness, and the nature of fire is heat, so too, the nature of all phenomena is understood to be emptiness." Its view is that the Mind-Only school asserts that all phenomena that appear in this way are self-illuminating by nature of consciousness, while the Madhyamaka school establishes that all phenomena are free from elaboration. Both do not deny the cause and effect of karma as mere illusion in the conventional realm, and the objects of training also exist in the precepts that are collected by accumulating virtue, benefiting sentient beings, and restraining from misdeeds. Among them, the first, accumulating virtue, is practiced through the accumulation of merit and wisdom, and through the six and ten perfections, and so on. Benefiting sentient beings is to use all thoughts and actions solely for the benefit of sentient beings. The precepts collected by restraining from misdeeds, according to the Madhyamaka system, rely on the arising of bodhicitta for all, whether there are precepts or not. Although it is not said that the vows of individual liberation are necessary as a basis, according to the Mind-Only system, bodhicitta does not arise in those who are sinful. In particular, the noble Asanga explains in the Bodhisattvabhumi that the precepts collected by restraining from misdeeds are the seven types of individual liberation vows, and on the basis of maintaining those precepts, one generates the aspiration bodhicitta by aspiring to the Bodhisattva vehicle, and the entering bodhicitta by entering its path. If we divide bodhicitta, there are conventional bodhicitta and ultimate bodhicitta. The first, conventional bodhicitta, is all the bodhicitta of bodhisattvas in the stages of accumulation and application, and the bodhicitta that appears as the nature of the subsequent attainment of noble bodhisattvas. Ultimate bodhicitta is the bodhicitta in the state of non-conceptual equipoise that directly realizes the nature of reality. Sakya Pandita says in the Differentiation of the Three Vows: "What is called ultimate bodhicitta arises through the power of meditation, but it does not arise through rituals. If it arises through rituals, it is a mind that arises from symbols."

The generation stage. The precepts to be protected are: The Mind-Only school considers there to be four root downfalls. As stated in the "Twenty Verses on Vows": Attachment to gain and respect, Praising oneself and disparaging others, To those who are suffering and without protectors, Being miserly and not giving Dharma or wealth, Not listening even when others speak, Reviling others with what one has obtained, Quarrelling with others out of anger, Engaging in the practices of the Great Vehicle, And showing similar Dharma. So forth. The Madhyamaka school considers: The king has five certainties, the minister has five certainties, and the common people have eight certainties, in addition to abandoning the generation of aspirational and engaging Bodhicitta, thus considering twenty root downfalls. In terms of meditation: In the small stage of the path of accumulation, practice the four mindfulnesses; in the middle and large stages, practice the four right abandonments; the four legs of miraculous powers; in the heat and peak stages of the path of joining, the five faculties; in the patience and supreme Dharma stages, the five powers; in the path of seeing, the seven branches of enlightenment; in the path of meditation, the eight branches of the noble path. Having gradually trained in these, one attains Buddhahood in the Dharmakaya for one's own benefit, and for the benefit of others, until samsara is empty, through either of the two form bodies, one works for the benefit of all sentient beings. As stated in the extensive text: Completing the two selflessnesses, completing the perfections, the yogi who gradually traverses the ten grounds, the path to go to the Buddha ground and attain the state, will be fully attained through the two truths. Thus, a rough outline of the divisions of the causal characteristic vehicle has been explained. Fifth, explaining the unsurpassed mantra vehicle, regarding how it surpasses the causal characteristic vehicle, although there are many ways, to summarize, as stated in the Heruka Galpo: The characteristic causal vehicle, considers the nature of mind as the cause of Buddhahood. The resultant mantra vehicle, considers the nature of mind as Buddhahood itself. Whatever is the cause and the result, one should also thoroughly understand the aspects. As such, the causal characteristic vehicle views the nature of mind as merely the cause of Buddhahood, and through the accumulation of the two collections, it is made to increase from above, and the cause of attaining Buddhahood is made into a path of purification. The resultant mantra vehicle considers the nature of mind as the mandala of body and wisdom.
