Furthermore, in other Sutras, there are instances of evil demons transforming into the appearance of the Buddha, etc. To differentiate from these, there are occasions when "truly" and "perfectly" are separately established. Third, the explanation of the nature of wisdom being free from extremes and center is indicated by the term "Buddha." That is, wisdom free from obscurations has the nature of being vast and without center or extremes. Generally, if derived from the term "Buddha" in Sanskrit, it implies both meanings: awakening as if from sleep and expanding like the opening of a lotus. As stated in the "Seventy Verses on Refuge": "Because of awakening from the sleep of ignorance, and because the mind expands towards objects of knowledge." And in the "Great Perfection, Definitive Meaning Collection": "Awakening is awakening from the magic of the four maras, Expanding is expanding the view that subdues." Fourth, the nature of possessing the fruit but whose essence cannot be pointed out is indicated by the term "Bhagavan." Its meaning is that because all four maras, two obscurations, along with their imprints, are completely vanquished, it is called "vanquished"; "possessing" means possessing the six great qualities, so it is called "possessing." As stated in the "Vajra Path Stages": "Vanquishing the four maras, etc., with the courage of knowledge, Qualities such as the five bodies are beyond expression, One's own essence cannot be pointed out as 'this'." The manner of vanquishing the four maras is: The cause—the characteristics of afflictions pacify in their own place,

Attachment to the true path is an obstacle to knowledge. Habitual tendencies are the ultimate subtle transformations of arising, and because the white, red, and wind elements combine, knowledge appears as the dualistic phenomena of samsara. For example, although there is no actual musk in a container that has held musk, it is like being imbued with the scent of musk. Both the object to be purified and the path of purification are not taught in any other collections of scriptures besides the tantric ones. The six great qualities of "Possessing" are as stated in the Sambhuti: "Power and beauty, splendor and fame and wisdom, and the perfection of diligence, these six are called Possessing." Therefore, power is the nature of destroying all habitual tendencies, utterly pure. When combined with the body, it is the Dharmakaya; when combined with wisdom, it is the Dharmadhatu wisdom. Beauty is the source of all qualities; when combined with the body, it is the Sambhogakaya; when combined with wisdom, it is the Mirror-like Wisdom. Splendor and fame are unwavering in bestowing qualities on beings; when combined with the body, it is the Sambhogakaya; when combined with wisdom, it is the Wisdom of Equality. Wisdom is knowing all dharmas without differentiation at once; when combined with the body, it is the Vajra Body; when combined with wisdom, it is the Discriminating Wisdom. Diligence is the nature of limitless activity; when combined with the body, it is the Nirmanakaya; when combined with wisdom, it is the Accomplishing Wisdom. Dispelling wrong views: If the term "Possessing" is derived from the Sanskrit word Bhagavan, although it can refer to existence and the world, it is said here that "van" is added later as a superior method, which is a ruling. This ruling is not like suddenly adding something unrelated to the Sanskrit root with a powerful reasoning. As stated in the Two Examinations: "This Buddha has five Bhagas, and is called Bhagavan. Bhaga is spoken of in six ways, namely power and all qualities. Or, in order to destroy afflictions and demons, he is called Bhagavan." "Gone beyond" refers to the Dharmakaya being unborn, thus transcending the extreme of existence; the Rupakaya being unceasing, thus transcending the extreme of non-existence; and transcending both extremes of existence and non-existence, permanence and annihilation, hence it is called "Gone beyond." Fifth, although realizing equality, the nature of being beyond the realm of experience is explained.
