Although old deeds have the merit of being difficult to endure, when they come into contact with sunlight, the petals close, so the bee cannot take the nectar. Like that person, although he can hold on to the wisdom of hearing once from the teacher, and has a little understanding of the wisdom of thinking, he cannot explain it to others because of his lack of courage in wisdom. Although the red lotus can hold nectar and the bee can take it, the merit cannot last long because of the dripping of nectar. Like that person, although he can open the door of faith, diligence, and wisdom and explain it to others, the merit cannot last long because his own nature is not stable. The heart of the sandalwood snake is small but fragrant, its roots are not deeply rooted, its branches are luxuriant, it is wrapped in poisonous snakes, and others cannot take it. Like that person, he has little learning but great pride, without the root of the three baskets of scriptures, laws, and treatises, he speaks rashly to others, and his hatred is very heavy, so he cannot benefit others. Jewels are pure of all faults and possess merits, and become the basis for the origin of all needs. Like that person, he is virtuous and his precepts are pure, his own nature is stable, he himself understands well with the wisdom of hearing, thinking, and meditating, and with the door of combining virtuous wisdom, loving intention, and patience, he can gather all those who can be transformed. Thus, jewels are superior, the other three, such as lotuses, are medium, and sandalwood is inferior. A person like a jewel is suitable as a vessel for learning and teaching, and the other four are suitable as vessels for collective teaching. The seventh ornament is as previously stated: 'Two kinds of true meaning, conventional truth should also be explained.' Relying on the previous six ornaments, all the meanings of the tantras are divided into two truths, the generation stage together with the aspects of the complete stage is the conventional truth, and the formless complete stage and the meaning of luminosity are the ultimate truth. Union is also what is to be attained. Thus, the explanation through the door of the seven ornaments is complete. Second, the way to explain this tantra, the various separate teachings explain through the door of the five dharmas, the state of the nature of things, the delusion of non-realization.

The way of appearance, the way the omniscient sees, the way loving compassion arises, and the way of benefiting beings, these five. The first is: Each with their own wisdom of awareness, whether or not they can realize it, they believe that all phenomena, existence, samsara, and nirvana are inherently the great Dharmakaya, inseparable from the truth. As it is said in the Extensive One: "The world, stable and moving, etc., has no essence from appearance itself. That itself is the great Dharmakaya." Second, the way of unawakened delusion is: Although all dharmas are inherently enlightened, sentient beings have not realized this. The cause of not realizing this is: Co-emergent ignorance does not know its own nature, and circumstantial ignorance transforms the mind into a perverted state, so that clinging and attachment are used at will, and thus the suffering of the six realms must be experienced. As it is said in the Prasangika: "Ignorance is of three kinds, with the self alone as the root of delusion." And as it is said in the Copper Garland: "From this very co-emergent and imputed, as many discriminations as there are of beings, there are countless kinds of beings in the five realms." As it is said in the Mindfulness Sutra: "In samsara, even on the tip of a needle, there is never any happiness." Third, the way the omniscient sees is: With the compassion of the Buddha, the realms of sentient beings, as they are and as many as they are, are seen by the three inseparable knowledges. Not another Dharmadhatu, but with the knowledge of as it is, the dharmas of appearance, existence, samsara, and nirvana, whose nature is imperceptible, are clearly seen. Not another wisdom, but with the knowledge of as many as there are, the high and low states of the six realms, the good and bad bodies, the great and small enjoyments, and how the final fruits are obtained, are seen separately, like arranging the actions of painting on a wall. Not another union of Dharmadhatu and wisdom, but with inseparable knowledge, all the dharmas of samsara and nirvana are seen as inseparable in nature, like images in a mirror, appearing but not established in nature. Fourth, the way loving compassion arises is: In general, the compassion of the Buddha is the basis for benefiting sentient beings, and its essence is great compassion without an object of focus. Differentiating that
