The field is fertile and oily. It is the direction where the water deity resides. There is slightly less wind. Flowers and trees are lush, with signs of birdsong. Telling history is the best auspiciousness. Second, observing one's own characteristics, there are two types: good and bad. The bad side is, as stated in "The Three Aspects of Character Training," there are three types. The external bad is, as stated in the scripture: "Like cliffs and precipices, low and with holes, hot air, thresholds, sharp stones, and turtles." The internal bad is, as stated in the scripture: "Gravel, ashes, charcoal, and tiles, bones: cracks, etc." Both are bad are, banyan trees and sandalwood trees, fig trees, burning ash trees, Arjuna, etc. Do not grant expectations, practice and migrate. Auspicious characteristics are, as stated in the scripture: "Auspicious grass, flowers, and trees, possessing pus and color, very few bricks and lines, especially the remaining ones, are considered the best." Furthermore, the mandala of the wrathful deity is the place where mothers and dakinis gather, and the cemetery is very terrifying and creepy, which is auspicious. Because it is said in the ritual of the wrathful deity: "Eliminate all faults, in the cemetery, accomplish the truth, practice the wrathful deity." Third, initiation is, in the Vajrabhairava it says: "In order to pacify disputes, to the manifest and unmanifest masters, with a generous mind, evaluate the truth and initiate." Therefore, there are two types of initiation: initiation to the manifest and initiation to the unmanifest. The first is, after seeing it is suitable, initiate after evaluating the price to the owner of the land, the king, etc. The second is, there are two types: initiation to the Sugata and initiation to the earth goddess and her retinue. The first is, in the ritual it says: "In the center of the thoroughly investigated land, smear the heavy mandala with incense, make it flat and the size of a cowhide, and add camphor and sandalwood." Thus, divide and organize the work, and pray to grant the accomplishment of the land. The second is, in front of oneself visualized as the nectar swirling wheel, visualize the earth goddess, invite and offer, and in the sky as a witness of good deeds, in order to eliminate obstacles, delineate the boundary with the arrogance of the wrathful vajra, form the trident mudra, pray for what is desired, the earth goddess merges with a smiling light, and consider the land itself as wisdom.

Fourth, regarding control: In the ritual, it says, "For the purpose of controlling accomplishments, on a copper or other phurba crescent, the supreme wrathful one arises from Hūṃ." This means generating a copper phurba, a wrathful crescent-shaped lotus kīlaya, with one face and four arms. After blessing the three places, insert it into the ground, and contemplate that red light pervades, and you gain control. Fifth, regarding purification: The ritual says, "Through purification, purify with fire, mantra, mudrā, and samādhi." There are four meanings to this. First, purification through action and activity: Examine the ground, dig from the abdomen to a depth reaching the waist or knees, and remove impurities from the soil. Then, as it says, "Fill with water, observe a hundred steps." Perform the examination. Bury the treasure and build the platform. Then, scatter thirty gomas. Similarly, it says, "Five grains, five incenses, five precious substances." etc. The five aggregates are purified into the five bodies, namely rice, wheat, beans, sesame, and white mustard seeds, which are the five grains. The five faculties are purified into the five activities, saffron, musk, nutmeg, white and red sandalwood, which are the five incenses. The five objects are purified into the five desirable qualities, coral, conch shell, pearl, gold, and silver, which are the five precious substances. The five consciousnesses are purified into the five wisdoms, lanytsa grass, honey, molasses, haritaki, and butter, which are the five essences. Purified into the five speeches, Hasa Deva (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning), Brihati (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning), Svada Kandakari (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning), Arcita (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning), are the five medicines. Red and white bodhicitta, large and small excrement, large meat, the five amṛtas, etc., are smeared with a mixture of six sets of five items. Second, purification by fire: As the ritual says, "If all signs are bad, or go elsewhere, or through pacification, it will be thoroughly purified by fire." Therefore, purify through a peaceful fire offering. Third, purification by mantra and mudrā: For medium signs, place a sun disc with five grains on the right hand, and recite: Oṃ Vajra Hana Hana Kro Ddha Hūṃ Phat (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning). Recite three times, purifying with light. Fourth, purification by samādhi, divided into two: The formless is to contemplate all dharmas as emptiness with the mantra of emptiness. The formed is, from the self-aware Hūṃ, the radiance of the five great element seeds marked with Vajra Hūṃ arises, and on top of the accumulation of the five elements, generate the mandala of both peaceful and wrathful deities, including the palace and cushions. Sixth, blessing:
