The means of accomplishing perfection is as follows: As stated in the Lamrim, "Combine the four branches of accomplishment." Thus, one should understand the means of accomplishing perfection through the four doors of recitation and accomplishment. Therefore, if one gathers all the conducive conditions for accomplishment and practices, it will undoubtedly be accomplished. As it says in this very text: "With a comfortable place and resources, and undiminished, excellent intelligence, first keep the vows as prescribed. Without laziness or idleness, if one practices without doubt, all mandalas will be accomplished, and one will obtain the supreme Vajra secret." Therefore, having explained the basis for accomplishing with the five perfections, the second is how to straighten the text with the four branches of recitation and accomplishment: recitation, near recitation, accomplishment, and great accomplishment. Here, since it is the stage of the generation phase, the practitioner who possesses the five perfections mentioned earlier should, on the first night, protect the ground. Secondly, consecrate the vase and other parts. If initiating a disciple in connection with the great accomplishment, then perform the rituals of preparing the deity, which are termed "taking the ground" in the remaining stages and Vajra activities. Thirdly, perform confession and sealing off, pressing down the Matram, drawing the mandala, and arranging the decorations. Then, on the first night, begin the recitation in the manner of taking the lead. First, prostrate in rows and properly, then seal off with the dance of the ten wrathful deities, open the door of the mudra, offer the mudra, confess, take vows, and consecrate the mandala by applying the three ointments. Bless the offerings. Then, enter into recitation, meditate on the three samadhis, and meditate according to the mandala assembly of the support and the supported. Empower, bless, draw down and integrate wisdom, and then make recitations after offering and praising. That is also the recitation of the first night. As it says in the Lamrim: "In front of the wisdom, the superior one, recite with the three clarities." Thus, the self-commitment deity, the wisdom deity, and the intermediate coming and going, that is, recite through the door of the three clarities as instructed. After opening the Japa box, encourage the white rays to radiate outwards to purify obscurations. Think that gathering inwards has purified my obscurations and made me a suitable vessel for accomplishments, and then recite the Japa.

Ah! Afterwards, the opened mandala is absorbed into oneself. After completing the recitation (Tibetan: ཛབ྄, Sanskrit Devanagari: जप, Sanskrit Romanization: japa, Chinese literal meaning: recitation), perform the gathering offering, the remaining offering ritual, the absorption of life, the offering of torma, connect with the subsequent offerings, and bless the supports and abide. If leaving, bless the rosary on the face of the wrathful deity and protect the seat. Examine the wandering ones who cause obstacles during the six times. Encourage and repel their respective antidotes. Always remain inseparable from the pride of the deity. This is also like Tara and Yungtön Chenpo, who only practiced with the arrangement of the branches, and did not like the practice of the first night. However, here, as stated in the teachings such as "meditating in the manner of a wheel," and as it appears in the records of many ancient scholars such as Rog, the great treasure revealer Lama and the omniscient Dharma Shri are pleased with it. Elsewhere, no matter how much practice is done, it is not unreasonable to like the approach of near practice from the beginning of the first night, because it is explained that way in the context of the wrathful deity of the Lamrim. Second, near practice: The order of other rituals is the same as before, but the special feature is that the torma is offered six or four times, and a fire offering is performed. At the time of the emission and absorption of recitation (Tibetan: ཛབ྄, Sanskrit Devanagari: जप, Sanskrit Romanization: japa, Chinese literal meaning: recitation), white light is emitted outwards to encourage, and red light is absorbed inwards to make it a suitable vessel for accomplishment. The time is half of the practice time. Third, practice: All other rituals are like near practice, but at the time of recitation (Tibetan: ཛབ྄, Sanskrit Devanagari: जप, Sanskrit Romanization: japa, Chinese literal meaning: recitation), red light is emitted outwards to encourage accomplishment, and absorption is to think of obtaining the accomplishment of body, speech, and mind, alternating emission and absorption. Fourth, great practice: After the number of practice days as stated is completed, signs of credible accomplishment appear, such as the Thangka showing a smile, the butter lamp burning by itself, and the practice substances boiling in butter. On the last night, perform the ritual of taking accomplishment, the order of which is: outwardly perform a vast fire offering, and inwardly change the direction of the mandala. Accumulate the substances of accomplishment, adorn with beautiful clothes and jewels, straighten the activity text, and at the time of recitation (Tibetan: ཛབ྄, Sanskrit Devanagari: जप, Sanskrit Romanization: japa, Chinese literal meaning: recitation), do not emit light outwards, only absorb it inwards, that is, absorb the blue light into the nature of accomplishment and dissolve it into the substances. In the first half of the night, take accomplishment from the deity, and at noon, take accomplishment from the enemy by the activity of subduing others.
