Equally abiding in the spontaneously accomplished essence. The impure phenomenal truth of inner confusion and false appearance. The pure phenomenal truth of deity appearance, both are equal in the supreme phenomenal truth of the mandala of body and wisdom, which is the reason for the four equalities. As it says: "The two equalities, the supreme two equalities, the mandala, the realm of Samantabhadra." Etc. The great self is, all phenomena encompassed by the unawakened samsara and the awakened nirvana. Although appearing in various ways from the perspective of appearance, from the perspective of abiding, the nature of mind, the unborn, self-arisen wisdom, abides in the nature of one. That is the great self, as it says: "Self-arisen wisdom, unlocalized appearance." Etc. In the Ornament it says: "All these appearances, each of their own, are consciousness without self-nature. Self-arisen wisdom, unlocalized appearance." Etc. Having finished explaining the reasoning of valid scriptures, the second, the reasoning of similar sounds and different meanings, is that abandoning and purifying the five poisons in the common vehicle is different in meaning in this vehicle by viewing that self-nature is not established. If it is established by reasoning, the five poisons including desire, hatred, delusion, pride, and jealousy are also not truly established, because their respective entities are empty. So it is said. Previously, when Little Zur Sherab Drakpa was teaching, someone came to debate, saying that the pillar was the subject to be established. Little Zur Sherab Drakpa said: "The pillar is the subject to be established, it appears as a pillar to ordinary people, but it does not exist as a pillar in the Great Perfection self-appearance without distinction." After saying that, he waved his hand and showed unobstructed miracles. Thus, by determining with measuring reasoning, the meaning of the abiding mode of the self-nature cause continuum, directly realizing it is the tenet. As it says in the Ocean: "Like the reflection of a clear ocean, not relying on sound, relying on mind, self-awareness, direct perception, free from elaboration, self-luminous, free from three, unwavering, definitely deciding whatever is done, listening, thinking, and meditating to the end of the view." So it is said. Also, as it says in the Fearful Lightning: "If direct awareness decides, the yogi has reached the ground." So it is said. Some people think that the tenet of mantra is only separated from the view of Madhyamaka by the superiority of skillful means, it is the ultimate truth.

Regarding the meaning of the unparalleled view of mantra: Most of the New Translation scholars believe that in the Two Examinations Tantra, it says, "The nature is originally unborn, neither false nor true, just like that, everything is like the moon in water, those who desire do not know yoga." From the way this passage is interpreted, the doctrine of mantra is the view of Madhyamaka, but it is distinguished by the superiority of its methods. If we follow the Old Translation school's own explanation, the view is even more superior than the method. Although it is similar to Madhyamaka in that there is no arising or ceasing in the ultimate truth, and it is merely similar to illusion in the conventional truth, the characteristic of mantra is that it views even the conventional illusion as the nature of a completely pure deity, and distinguishes itself by viewing the two truths as inseparable. Longchen Rabjam, who sees all knowable things, said, "First of all, it is most important to understand the nature of reality. No matter what kind of terms are spoken from the perspective of any vehicle, the definitive essence is the inseparability of the two truths, which is the secret treasury of all Buddhas." Regarding viewing the conventional as a deity, the Action Tantra views purity as the deity of Dharmata, the Yoga Tantra views the deity blessed by the great non-abiding wisdom on top of that, and the Anuttara Yoga Tantra views it as a spontaneously accomplished mandala on top of both, therefore abandoning the attachment to the difference between the two truths. Not only in the ultimate truth, but also in the conventional truth, it is established as a great realm of pure and equal environment and inhabitants, therefore, as the cause of the unsurpassed vehicle, the view of mantra, which is the method vehicle, is far superior to the Madhyamaka school. In the Expanded Illusion Tantra, Buddha Secret quotes this in the stages of the path, saying, "Among the unsurpassed vehicles, there is no difference in the ultimate truth, in the conventional truth, to everything, there is attachment to purity and impurity, in the Great Vehicle of Method, purity and suffering, are also inseparable in the conventional truth, the difference between high and low views is only this much." Therefore, the view of the Sakya school, commonly known as the essence of the secret mantra vehicle, that samsara and nirvana are inseparable, is no different from the meaning explained above. Second, the characteristic of introducing dependent origination, Samadhi has two types, namely, aspiration meditation and definitive perfection.
