Again, manifesting the body of great bliss, as it says in the Tantra of the Quintessence of the Bindu: "The nature of the luminous mind is inseparable from the dharmadhatu and wisdom. Who should meditate on that bliss at that time? The fruit is perfect enlightenment in this life." The definition of the non-dual tantra Atiyoga is: The word Atiyoga means extreme yoga, referring to the unborn nature or the essence of all things, hence the meaning that all dharmas are primordially enlightened. If divided, there are three: The basis is the nature of all phenomena of samsara and nirvana being primordially enlightened. The path is to practice without the duality of generation and completion, transcending acceptance and rejection, hope and fear. The result is to perfect the state of complete and perfect Samantabhadra from this very moment. Because everything is complete in this vehicle, it is also called the Great Perfection. As its branch says: "The king of self-awareness who realizes the meaning of equality, and these great methods that realize the ultimate meaning, just as all rivers flow into the great ocean, all countless vehicles of liberation are gathered here." Secondly, there are two: one is to differentiate according to the antidote, and the other is to gather them according to the differences in faculties. The first is: "As an antidote to the eighty-four thousand afflictions caused by the conceptual thoughts of ignorance," and so on, as will be said. This shows that the afflictions of desire, hatred, and delusion, which are generated by the conceptual thoughts of ignorance in the minds of beings, are equally twenty-one thousand each, which are the antidotes to the eighty-four thousand afflictions. The Vinaya Pitaka, Sutra Pitaka, Abhidhamma Pitaka, and the Mantra Pitaka, which are equal to them, are also twenty-one thousand each, which are the eighty-four thousand Dharma doors. The teachers who arose from self-generated wisdom spoke in accordance with the appearances of those to be tamed in the past. Now they are also speaking in the boundless and limitless mandalas of the ten directions. They will also speak in the future. As it is also said in the Kunje Gyalpo Tantra: "The antidote spoken to subdue desire is the Vinaya Pitaka, twenty-one thousand. The antidote spoken to subdue hatred is the Sutra Pitaka, twenty-one thousand. The antidote spoken to subdue delusion is the Abhidhamma Pitaka, twenty-one thousand.

etc. All that is spoken of as the antidote to taming is: The four collections of teachings are said to be twenty-one thousand verses. And from the Treasury of Knowledge: As for the antidotes to actions, it is said that the aggregates of Dharma are in harmony. This is the second point. All of these, from karma and the fruits of karma, etc., to the very end. The way in which all those Dharma gates that have been spoken of become antidotes to afflictions is, if explained as the secret lord Great Feather Cave spoke of by comparing it to the hollow of a poisonous tree. For example, in the garden of a great king, a large poisonous tree grows. The foolish subjects, feeling that the taste of the poisonous tree is sweet, abandon the food tree and enjoy the branches, leaves, flowers, and fruits of the poisonous tree, and are tormented by the suffering of severe poisoning, and there is no chance of survival. Similarly, the tree of afflictions produced by the two ignorances, with the five roots as its roots, and the flowers and fruits of the near afflictions. Those who are manifestly attached to the eight worldly dharmas of ordinary gods and humans abandon the ten virtues and engage in the karma of afflictions and non-virtue, the result of which is being tormented by the suffering of the lower realms, and the life of liberation is cut off. Furthermore, among those subjects, some who know the faults of the poisonous tree, knowing the advantages and disadvantages of the food tree and the poisonous tree, although they enjoy the food tree, are unable to surpass the poisonous tree. Similarly, among gods and humans, some who have awakened to white karma, the result of virtuous karma is the higher realms, and the result of evil karma does not go beyond the lower realms, so they are not deceived, they are not wasted, they believe and abandon the ten non-virtues, and engage in the ten virtues, but they are still unable to definitively escape from samsara, this is the vehicle of gods and humans. Furthermore, among those subjects, some say: It is best to remove the root of this poisonous tree, even if it is as small as the tip of a needle, and transport it across many valleys. Similarly, although one realizes that the external object of grasping and the internal consciousness of grasping, which has continuity, are not inherently existent, but because one believes that the subtle atoms of the object of grasping and the moment of consciousness of grasping exist in ultimate truth, therefore one enters the method of abandoning afflictions, this is the vehicle of the Hearers. Furthermore, among those subjects, some say: The poisonous tree from the root
