That is, benefiting the beings of the five realms, as it is shown. The meaning is: the upper part of the Asuras is included in the gods, and the lower part is included in the animals. In the Sutra on Mindfulness, it says: "Asuras, animals, dragons, animals." And so on. In particular, it speaks of the four kinds of retinues, etc. Third, the perfection of the place is: it says "the ten directions of the six realms of the horizontal and vertical worlds are boundless and limitless," and "each of the three thousand great thousands of worlds." These have been explained. In this regard, the previous lamas considered "boundless and limitless" to be the pure land of the Dharmakaya, and "the ten directions of the six realms of the horizontal and vertical worlds" to refer to the first kalpa of the three thousand worlds, the second kalpa of the thousand worlds, and the thousand worlds connected in perfect purity, which is considered the measure of the Sambhogakaya pure land. This is not seen as contradictory. I mostly rely on what is said in the Mahaprajnaparamita Sutra: "The differences in karma are inconceivable, the hell realms sink downwards, the realms of Yama stretch horizontally, and animals and Asuras go up and down." Or, pointing the head upwards means beings tending towards higher realms, stretching horizontally means tending towards the animal realm, and pointing downwards means tending towards the hell and hungry ghost realms. These six are all contained within one three thousand world. The Commentary says: "One three thousand has six formations, and is called the pure land of one emanation body." The layout of the pure lands manifested by the karma of beings is boundless, but here, according to the Abhidharmakosha, it says: "The four continents and the sun and moon, Mount Sumeru and the desire gods, a thousand Brahma worlds are one, this thousand is included in the first kalpa. This thousand times a thousand is two thousand, which is the realm of the middle thousand worlds. This thousand times a thousand is three thousand." As it is said. Fourth, the perfection of the Dharma is: explained by the four kinds of taming. Among them, first, taming with the great merit of the body is: from birth, ordination, etc., to what is said between "the Able One." Second, taming with the direct perception of the mind is: from knowing the four times, etc., to what is said between "the six great superknowledges." Third, taming with inconceivable miracles is: from the inconceivable body everywhere, etc., to inconcei

Appearing everywhere, immeasurable, appearing in the ten directions. As shown by these and so on. Fourth, subduing with the intelligence of speech, there are three: exposition, explanation, and summary. Everything is like this: depending on the disciples of the five lineages with the vehicles of gods and humans, a brief exposition is made through the gate of the five vehicles. With "the conceptualization of ignorance" and so on, as an antidote to the eighty-four thousand afflictions, eighty-four thousand aggregates of Dharma are spoken, giving an extensive explanation. All of these also conclude with the order of the senses with "the conceptualization of grasping and being grasped" and so on. Thus it is said. Fifth, the perfection of time: In the Minor Commentary, it says, "Although the nature of time is equally present, it is a rare time for those with fortune." And so on. Having finished explaining the cause of the arising of the tantra, the basis of the topic. Second, the condition for raising the topic. In the Heart Drop it says: "The teacher grants permission and the retinue asks, from the occasion the topic is raised, the teacher and the retinue. Whatever becomes the condition for granting permission and questioning, thereby the teaching is not lacking." As it is said, the teacher and retinue, through the combination of questions and answers, cause the meaning of the tantra to arise in accordance with the minds of the disciples, and it is not lacking. Thus, after the basis of the topic has gathered, if the condition for raising the topic is not raised, the meaning of the tantra will not arise. With "the teacher grants permission," the teacher grants permission by welcoming, like in the Compendium of Sutras: "I have previously extensively explained the meaning of the Perfection of Wisdom, now I will give a brief exposition of those meanings, listen well and keep them in mind." And so on. With "the retinue asks," like in the Praise of the Names of Manjushri, the Lord of Secrets, Vajrapani: "Please speak of the supreme speech." After asking thus, "From your mouth extends a beautiful tongue, long and wide." Thus the retinue asks, and so the combination of questions and answers between the teacher and retinue, through such a condition, causes the meaning of the tantra to arise without lacking, which is the condition for raising the topic. That is divided into two: uncommon and common ways of raising the topic. The first is: the teacher and consort, with the combined mandala, welcome the retinue with the combination of empowerment, holding onto the aspect of non-duality of method and wisdom, and raise the topic, there are three. Thus it is said, the father, holding onto the aspect of method, raises the topic: "Emaho! The limbs of the vajra body are." And so on.
