Regarding entrustment, there are two aspects. Entrusting to someone with the Dharma-eye: "Of all the Tathagatas, this great secret seal is certain. Whoever, having realized it, speaks of what is done, that very one is me, and also possesses complete power." Thus it is. Secondly, entrusting through the door of definite prophecy, which is with reason. In this very text, it says: "That is definitely prophesied, the son is born from the heart, and abides in the state of the Vidyadhara of the highest ground." Thus it is. Thirdly, entrusting to the mothers and Dakini hosts. The extensive text says: "This essence of my heart, spread in all ten directions, entrusting it to the one who holds its dharani, is like a wish-fulfilling treasury, a place of wealth and command. To the one who is able to uphold the teachings, entrust the supreme secret essence." Thus, entrusting the mothers and Dakinis to cherish the teachings and diligently spread them in all ten directions. Secondly, the classification of the categories of words has three aspects. Its essence is: From the Later Tantra: "Whatever explains the subject matter, from that, it is explained as the expresser." Thus, that which explains the subject matter is the Tantra of the expresser, which is the nature of appearing as sound and being audible, that is, the Tantra of sound, or the Tantra of letters that appears as a book. It also possesses the three-fold collection of essence. Just as a supporting beam is called a pillar, similarly, whatever sound is for whatever dharma, that itself is it, and what is nominally stated is a name. The collection of many names is a collection of names, like a treatise on synonyms. That name, without adding anything else, first shows only the essence. Secondly, it distinguishes the differences of categories such as actions and activities, and shows the difference between the dharma and its meaning, which is a sentence, such as "On the horse-landing place, there is a Dharma wheel with an umbrella, and on the right and left, male and female deer rely on it." The syllable that clarifies that name and sentence is called a letter. Thus, from the collection of letters comes a name, from the collection of names comes a sentence, and from their collection come verses and prose, and so on, and the collection of texts, the Tantra of letters, is established. In this very text, it says: "From the collection of letters, sounds, names, the sentence that relies on them clearly indicates." Therefore, it is said. The definitive word is: Why is it called the Tantra of sound? It is said to be the means of realizing the meaning of what is said, the expresser of the

由于显现为声音且被称为声音,因此声音和章节等构成了经典的集合。或者,由于五个主题等以因、缘、果的方式相关联,所以称为“续”。另一方面,由于所诠释的对象获得了“续”的名称,因此能诠释的对象也被称为“续”。

Because it appears as sound and is called sound, sound and verses, etc., constitute the collection of scriptures. Or, because the five topics, etc., are related as cause, condition, and result, it is called a "Tantra." On the other hand, because the object to be explained obtains the name "Tantra," the object that explains is also called "Tantra." Classification: The root Tantra, which becomes the basis for explanation; and the explanatory Tantra, which becomes the explainer, are divided into two. The root Tantra itself is also divided into twenty-two chapters of word collections and exists. Among them, the first chapter is the topic of the Sambhogakaya, the upper part of the third chapter is the topic of the Nirmanakaya taming beings, and the fifteenth chapter is the topic of the Wrathful Deities. These chapters show the classification of the topic as the cause. The second chapter is the arising of conditions. From the lower part of the third chapter up to the twenty-first, the result is complete wisdom, and these chapters universally have necessity and relevance. The last chapter shows the instructions. Regarding the meaning of the Tantra that should be fully understood, the method of showing the ten objects of the Tantra is as follows: The lower part of the third chapter and the beginning of the eleventh chapter show the method of establishing the view, etc. Many chapters, in fragments, first show the classification of the view, etc. By carefully examining the scripture itself, it can be understood how each chapter shows the ten objects of the Tantra in a major or minor way. Furthermore, it is necessary to understand which chapters show the common and individual dharmas of peaceful and wrathful deities. There are nine chapters showing peaceful deities, five chapters showing wrathful deities, and eight chapters showing peaceful and wrathful deities in common. If a wise person is interested, it is sufficient to explain these chapters in detail. It is said: The essential points of the meaning of the glorious Secret Essence Tantra, the nectar essence of the Guru's oral instructions, only a small part remains on the curtain of my wisdom-heart, and I have written it down for fear of forgetting it. Who will rejoice in this nowadays? It is better to be satisfied with a full measure of confusion. However, for the sake of future people with Dharma eyes, and for those who wish to enter the path of awakening, for their benefit, and to accomplish the activities of the great Guru's teachings and realization, I have done this. May all beings, through the merit of this writing, always enjoy the auspicious feast of the nectar essence of the meaning of the Tantra, and quickly attain the state of omniscience.

May it be auspicious! This also, due to the repeated urging of the master of the earth and sky, the great Dharma King, Miwang Gyurme Sonam Tobgyal's crown guru, the accomplished master who possesses power over both secular and spiritual affairs, the lord Rigdzin Gyatso, and with the provision of the necessary conditions for writing. If the name of this matter is mentioned for the sake of meaning, then in the presence of my Khenpo Ngawang Chöpel Gyatso, I heard the explanation of the tantras for twelve years, twice each year. After that, having grasped a little over the years, the lowest of the monks of Mindrolling Monastery, the Shakya Bhikshu Orgyen Chodrak, at the age of fifty-five, in the fourth month of the Iron Dog year (year needs verification), on the fifteenth day of the Saga month, the festival of our teacher's manifestation of perfect complete enlightenment, completed this in his own monastery, may it be auspicious! May this also cause the precious doctrine to flourish and prosper in all times and places, and may it abide for a long time. Sarva Mangalam! (Tibetan: སརྦ་མདྒ་ལཾ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: सर्व मङ्गलम्, Sanskrit Romanization: Sarva mangalam, Literal Chinese meaning: All auspicious!) Good! Good! Good!
