First and third. The first is: This itself is shown by the first chapter. Among them, there are five perfections. The first is the perfection of Dharma, which is shown by "Thus it was said." Among them, "Thus it was said" is a phrase that represents all the meanings of the tantras, representing all the meanings of the beginning and end of the tantras. Among them, "said" means: What I said in Ogmin before, I will say here again. This is because the intention of the teacher and retinue are not different. In the Root Tantra of the Compendium of Bliss, it says: I am the great king, speaking and listening are also myself. Also in the Two Examinations it says: The speaker is me, the Dharma is also me, and the listener with his own retinue is also me. Also in the Extensive Commentary of Sunlight Lion it says: Saying means that the retinue and the teacher are shown to be non-dual. The second is the perfection of time, which is shown by "at the time." Its meaning is that because it is the beginning of the Sambhogakāya, it transcends the certainty of a certain time, because it is a constant time, so it is the time of teaching the Dharma in the continuous wheel of Dharma. Some people say about this: In other sutras and tantras, there are "Thus I have heard at one time," etc., but here it is not said like that, so the beginning is reversed, so it is not a correct teaching. The answer to this is divided into two types: analyzing other answers and establishing one's own answer. The first is: Lhaje Lang Shakya Zang said: Although the two words speaking and listening are not consistent, the teacher speaks to the retinue, and the retinue hears from the teacher, the meaning is consistent, but listening does not cover speaking, so it is considered not good. Also Lhaje Da Tig said: Listening has three faults: misunderstanding, misinterpretation, and doubt, but here it says that the intention of the teacher and retinue are not different, so one speaks to oneself, so the previous three faults are completely cut off, but saying this is unreasonable, just saying it is free from the three faults, it is not covered, and the intention is not different, hearing oneself from oneself is also contradictory. Also, your Lama and Je Drophuk's view is: It is the difference shown by the two bodies, because the Sambhogakāya does not speak words, so the ears cannot hear, so it is said to be "said," and the Nirmanakaya speaks words, so it will become hearing, but the Sambhogakāya speaks

If it is said that all tantras state this, then it should appear in all tantras spoken by the Sambhogakaya Buddha, but since it does not, it is said that the rationality is not understood. Also, Lhaje asked: The Buddha's explanation of the meaning, collected by the compiler without adding or subtracting, you think there is no contradiction in this. Secondly, answering himself: The "speaking" mentioned above is speaking from the standpoint of the Buddha and retinue's intentions being inseparable. The "time" mentioned is also the time of the Sambhogakaya with five certainties, so there is no fault. Furthermore, in the common vehicle, the phrase "Thus have I heard" appears at the beginning because: I myself heard it directly from the Buddha, not through others. This is to establish the reliable source of the Dharma. Also, merely hearing the words is not enough to understand the meaning, which is to show that the Buddha's teachings are difficult to understand. The appearance of "at one time" is also: This is because the Buddha only spoke once, not at other times, which is to show that the Buddha's teachings are difficult to obtain. Also, hearing this at one time, and hearing others at other times, is to show that the compiler himself heard a lot. Also, understanding it at once is also to show wisdom being exceptionally outstanding. Furthermore, if not saying "Thus have I heard" would make it not the correct Buddha's words, then the *Chakrasamvara Root Tantra* and the *Manjushri-namasamgiti*, etc., would also have the same fault, because they do not say so. Because it says, "Then the secret will be explained" and "Then the glorious Vajradhara." Therefore, the commentary on the *Abhisamayalankara* says: This is merely another establishment, so never rely on the views of other vehicles to refute it. It is said to be like that. Thirdly, regarding the perfect teacher, it is divided into two types to explain: the nature of the teacher and the essence of the teacher. The first type, from "Tathagata Samyaksambuddha," etc., to "the inseparable nature," has been elucidated. Its meaning is: the nature that matures in suchness, the nature that is naturally accomplished without seeking qualities, the nature of wisdom without beginning or end, the nature that possesses the fruit but cannot indicate its essence, the manifestation of equality.
