The great Dharmakaya of unsurpassed non-duality. Anu (Sanskrit: anu, Romanized Sanskrit: anu, literal Chinese meaning: subtle) is the great bliss of the son who is non-dual with the realm and wisdom, the mandala of the root Bodhicitta. Ati (Sanskrit: ati, Romanized Sanskrit: ati, literal Chinese meaning: surpassing) is the clear light of Bodhicitta, the empty and clear unobstructed reality, endowed with the three wisdoms, and so on, known by many names. When this causal continuum is generally posited without being related to any aspect of the three bases, paths, and results, it is called nature or reality, that is, the union of the three bases, paths, and results, the secret essence of nature. When the aspects are separated, it is based on purifying adventitious stains, and by the power of the path continuum removing and purifying those stains, the result manifests as it is, and thus it is posited as the path and the result. Why does it become the continuum of the base or cause? Because being grasped by the conditions of the means path leads to Nirvana, and not being grasped leads to Samsara. Therefore, it is the source or cause of both Samsara and Nirvana, and it continuously exists without changing its nature from sentient beings to Buddhas, so it is a continuum. As it is said in the Three Successive [Tantras]: "All phenomena of the two expressions, are called the base because they all arise from it." The Protector Maitreya said: "As it was before, so it is later, the unchanging nature of reality." Differentiating, the master Vimalamitra said: "In the third section, the first has two aspects, the base of essence and the base of imputation." Therefore, the nature of mind, primordially and naturally pure, the causal continuum, the Tathagatagarbha, is the object to be purified here, that is, the base for purifying stains. For example, like a wish-fulfilling jewel in the middle of mud. For it, it is called the base of the reality of essence, it is the characteristic of the base. The false clinging appearance together with its object is like the mud of the stain to be purified, because it is an adventitious appearance of non-existence, it is said to be the base of imputed delusion. The false clinging here is the false clinging of grasping duality in non-duality, from which arise the aggregates, realms, and sources that appear to the mind of karma and false conceptualization, together with the objects of delusion. The clinging appearance itself is the cause of accomplishing Samsara, and it is only continuously existing until the aspects of the Alaya consciousness are exhausted, so it is a continuum.

Even if it's merely named "རྒྱུད་ (lineage)," it doesn't refer to the རྒྱུ་རྒྱུད་ (causal lineage) in this context, because it is an artificial, sudden dharma, and therefore not a རྒྱུ་རྒྱུད་ (causal lineage) that becomes the proximate cause of the result. The emptiness analyzed by reason, such as a pillar being empty of the nature of a pillar, and a vase being empty of the nature of a vase, this non-affirming emptiness is also not a characteristic རྒྱུ་རྒྱུད་ (causal lineage) in this context, because both the proximate cause and the meaning of continuity are not present. Although non-affirmation itself is merely freedom from elaboration, it is not the cause of both samsara and nirvana, and merely being unconditioned, it also does not fulfill the meaning of continuity. However, there is no contradiction in establishing རྒྱུ་རྒྱུད་ (causal lineage) as an imputation, because if it is taken as an object, merits and demerits will arise, and it is merely temporarily continuous in the face of awareness. Secondly, what is the means or path རྒྱུད་ (lineage) by which one realizes and progresses? (Causal lineage) is the means to purify the Tathagatagarbha from sudden defilements. That is, first, through hearing and thinking, one understands the establishment of the view in a general way, and then one engages in the meaning thus understood through practice, accompanied by intentional effort. That is, the common and supreme five minds generated by the three wisdoms of hearing, thinking, and meditating, which are the nature of generation. Thus, from the three stages, the nature With three kinds of wisdom, It is shown that five minds are born. Thus. The five common minds in this context are: the two of gods and humans, the Shravaka, the Pratyekabuddha, the Bodhisattva, and the three outer རྒྱུད་ (Tantra) divisions, which are the five minds that correspond to the five common paths. The five supreme minds are: the five minds of the Mahayoga school's own system. What are the five minds? The first mind that arises with the desire to enter the path is the fluctuating Bodhicitta, the aspiring Bodhicitta that thinks everything will be fine if it is obtained, the entering Bodhicitta that enters it, the abiding Bodhicitta that abides after entering, and the ultimate Bodhicitta that ultimately completes its meaning. The way these five minds arise is stated in "The Ocean": From the ground and occasion, arising and changing, It is explained separately in the path of liberation. Therefore, generating the mind from the ground, generating the mind from the path, and generating the mind from the fruit. The first is: generating the mind from the dark ground.
