Finished! It is said: Like a lotus that emerges beautifully from cool water, although bound by stains, it is not tainted by faults. The unchanging nature of one's own mind, the uncompounded realm, is established as the very essence of the mandala ocean. Therefore, Padmasambhava, Vimalamitra, Nyak Jñāna Kumāra, and others, the heart essence of accomplished ones, the secret tantra of essence, in order to clarify the means of realizing the unchanging nature of one's own mind, spread the joyous feast of the ocean of good teachings. May all virtues, as white as lotus roots, be dedicated so that all beings who have not been our mothers may attain the ultimate source of the heart essence, the unchanging, stainless, and possessing two purities, in order to obtain the state of the Victorious One, the ocean. Since I do not possess the strength of the three wisdoms, nor am I skilled in the dance of diligence, I fear that this steed called "Seeing Leads to Instantaneous Understanding" may not be able to cross the dangerous path of wrong speech. Therefore, I pray that with the reins of the compassion of the noble ones, and having been well urged on by the whip of patience, may all wise ones who wear the garments and ornaments of faith and diligence receive the grace to be led to the presence of the wise. The glorious secret essence, this is the general meaning of the order of determining that very reality, called "Seeing Leads to Instantaneous Understanding," which takes as its root text the initial general meaning of the heart essence commentary "The Ornament of the Wisdom of the Vidyādharas" composed by the great Khenchen Lotsāwa. Having compiled the collection of explanations derived from it into a written record, relying on the kindness of the all-pervading master, the great Tertön, the Dharma King, Terdak Lingpa, and the great Khenchen Lotsāwa Dharmashri, having slightly bloomed the lotus of wisdom, the mad monk Pema Gyurme Gyatso Mipham Namgyal Dorje Palzangpo, at the age of twelve, only made a seed record, because the power of wisdom was small, great benefit was not accomplished. Later, in the twenty-third year, the year of all-embracing, having slightly expanded it, and purely written it, may this virtue also cause all beings to meet the face of the Sugata-garbha! no
