The great Pandit Padmasambhava and Vimalamitra, etc., in general, and in particular, relying on the extensive commentary Spar Khab of Sgeg Dor and the stages of the Secret Buddha's Magical Illusion, etc., are explained. The three great scholars of Tibet, So, Zur, and Nub, especially relying on the pure treatises of the three, Zur, Me, and Won. How is it explained by reasoning? It is explained by pure reasoning that does not contradict the scriptures and oral instructions. How is it explained? Sgeg Dor said that the three tantras are summarized into four appearances. Although there are many teachings on how to explain, such as Zur Chung Sherab Drak summarizing it into five dharmas, here, following Vimala, it is explained. In Khog gzhung gsal sgron, it says: For the best, indicate the name, for the middle, differentiate, and for the worst, unravel the words. Therefore, there are three meanings: First, for those with the best faculties who can understand by mentioning the beginning, explain the name; for those with middle faculties, explain by differentiating the general meaning; for those with the worst faculties, explain by elaborating on each word and phrase, there are three. Here, the first two sections are shown. Among them, first, for those with the best faculties who can understand by mentioning the beginning, explain the name. In Khog gzhung, it says: The best name is known as three terms. The heart of illusion is the general scripture. Like the veins of the hand, understand the head and tail. It is for the sake of the fortunate. This is how it is shown. There are also three terms for indicating the name for the best: Vajrasattva Magical Net, which is the name that is in accordance with the tantra; Secret Essence Reality Determination, which is the name that is in accordance with the oral instructions; and the general scripture of the essence and all the tantras, which is the name that is in accordance with the scriptures. Mainly, in terms of importance, there are three terms for the name. The way to understand it is: Just as a doctor examines the veins of the hand and knows the diseases of the body from head to toe. Among them, there are three categories of names. First, the name that is commonly shown for the three, the main deity of the tantra and mandala, and the person who explains it, is Vajrasattva Magical Net. Among them, there are two parts of the name. First, Vajrasattva is in the Explanatory Tantra Mirror: All dharmas are non-dual, self-aware bodhicitta nature, the nature without difference, is called Vajra. And, Samyo

It says in the Ra la, "Vajra is said to be emptiness, The hero is just wisdom itself, Those who have accomplished self-nature, Are called Vajrasattva." Thus, vajra is the emptiness of wisdom. Since no characteristic dharma can be separated from that emptiness, and since it can destroy all characteristic dharmas, it is named so because it is similar to vajra. As for sattva, if it is derived from the word "sattva," generally, "sattva" has six meanings: courage, which is hatred; brave and steadfast; desire; wisdom; sentient beings; and collections. Here, it refers to three aspects: steadfastness, collection, and realization. Among them, steadfastness is: The mind of all sentient beings, Is said to be vajra. Because of steadfastness, it is called sattva. As it is said. Collection is: Because Vajrasattva is collected, Or, it is called inseparable vajra. Sattva is the oneness of the three realms. Here, one who possesses wisdom, Is called Vajrasattva. As it is said. Realization is: The unborn wisdom, the realm of its own nature, The meaning of the unchanging, indestructible vajra. Sattva is wisdom, vajra. As it is said, the uniting of the subject, the means, self-awareness, the mind of enlightenment, and the object, the realm of wisdom, emptiness, being of one taste, naturally pure, is called the steadfast Vajrasattva because it is as steadfast as a vajra, established from the aspect of being supremely unchanging. By applying the seal of that union to all dharmas of samsara and nirvana, collecting samsara and nirvana, good and bad, without distinction, into equality, is the collected Vajrasattva, established from the aspect of possessing all supreme qualities. Thus, these two, steadfastness and collection, are established from the aspect of the state of being. Therefore, these two are called Vajrasattva, which is without basis and result. Such a meaning of the state of being, which has been naturally present from the beginning, is realized as it is by a person who has exhausted the two obscurations and perfected the two accumulations, is the Vajrasattva of the result, established from the aspect of appearance. The wisdom that is realized is also non-dual like a vajra, therefore it is called that. Its referent, appearing as a symbolic mudra, the main deity of the mandala, and
