The ten winds gathered by what? Together with the winds that flow through the channels. Second, in the heart, there are wisdom bindus such as the indestructible life bindu, and consciousness bindus such as the pure and impure. Third, generating the wisdom of great bliss by relying on the upper and lower gates. As it is said in the Hevajra Tantra: "The center is said to be the essence, the bodhichitta is great bliss. Because it takes, it is called mandala. Gathering is also said to be mandala." Thus it is. Seventh, the mandala of the assembly of clusters: for both peaceful and wrathful deities, there are three types of clusters: one, three, and five. As it is said in the Body Mandala Root Tantra: "Assembly is threefold abundance, clusters of one, three, and five." Thus it is. Fourth, there are also three aspects to empowerment, its essence: As it is said in the Heart Drop: "Two causes and four conditions establish the limbs, that which is obtained residing in the six, that is said to be the essence." Thus, in general, empowerment has two causes and four conditions. First, the corresponding cause is that the cause of empowerment has been naturally present in oneself from the beginning. The simultaneous cause is that the empowerment substance is blessed by consecration. Second, regarding the condition of the cause, it is a vessel-like disciple who is capable of receiving the three profound and beneficial empowerments. The condition of the master is a qualified vajra master who is capable of bestowing the three empowerments. The condition of the object is a special ability that combines substance, mantra, and samadhi. The immediate condition is that the previous empowerment opens the way, and then the subsequent empowerment arises. Thus, with two causes and four conditions, relying on the gathering of the six, the action of placing the wisdom of the empowerment of the Dharma of the state of fruition in the continuum, causes the sprout of liberation to manifest and arise, or matures the potential for certain arising, which is the essence of empowerment. The etymology is, if derived from the Sanskrit word Abhiṣiñca, Abhi means manifestation, and ṣiñca means pouring or infusing. Empowerment, from the aspect of washing away the defilements of the three doors, is manifestation and pouring, and from the aspect of placing the special ability of the wisdom of the state of fruition in the continuum, it is the meaning of manifestation and infusion, therefore it is empowerment. The classification is, in general, there are three empowerments: base, path, and fruit. Among them, the first, in the Root Tantra, it is said: "If faith, diligence, asceticism, and good understanding are present, the empowerment that bestows benefit, the empowerment that bestows ability, are given in sequence."

"Holding it without wasting it with compassion." Also, in the Root Tantra, it says, "To the disciple who possesses faith, diligence, and perseverance, and who possesses the three ascetic practices." Therefore, if one is unable to practice the path of the two stages, one merely bestows the empowerment of benefit upon those with faith. Furthermore, among the five empowerments of ability, the empowerment of listening is bestowed upon those who are able to study and contemplate the teachings. The empowerment of meditation is bestowed upon those who are able to practice the stages of generation and the stages of completion to some extent, that is, those who are diligent in being able to accomplish their own benefit. Furthermore, the empowerment of activity is bestowed upon those who are able to accomplish the benefit of others through the practice of pacifying, increasing, etc. The empowerment of teaching is bestowed upon those who are able to explain the scriptures, that is, those who are diligent in being able to accomplish the benefit of others. Furthermore, the empowerment of mastery is bestowed upon those who are most suitable as Vajra Masters, capable of consecrating and empowering disciples, etc., and who are able to accomplish the benefit of both themselves and others, that is, the five empowerments of ability. The three profound secret empowerments are bestowed upon those who practice asceticism with similar conduct and lineage, which is a general establishment. In reality, one who has not previously entered this special path is first brought into the mandala and matured through empowerment. The second is that for one who has previously received empowerment and is practicing the path of either the generation stage or the completion stage, the Lama Vajra Master brings them into the mandala and bestows empowerment, or one performs self-entry, in order to purify and improve the mantra vows in their continuum, which is the path empowerment. In reality, one who is progressing on the path of the supreme vehicle receives empowerment from any self-entry of the Lama. The third is that for those who are on the path of no more learning, accomplished through the path of the perfections, and for those who are on the final path of mantra, the level of the spontaneously accomplished Vidyadhara, in the great palace of Akanishta Dharmadhatu, the teacher, the complete enjoyment body, the glorious Samantabhadra of the six lineages, bestows the three profound secret empowerments based on inner realization, thereby purifying the subtle obscurations of knowledge and the stains of the three appearances, increase, and ultimate, and accomplishing the inseparability of the teacher and retinue's intention through manifesting one's own wisdom as it is, which is the result empowerment. In reality, the teacher, the perfectly enlightened Buddha, in Akanishta, to the constant Bodhisattvas
