The two emptinesses of uncountable non-affirmation and non-affirmation of non-number, have the property. They are the same, because the excellent ultimate seven treasures are spontaneously accomplished as the essence of the cause. The two relative truths of impure appearance as inverted and pure appearance as deities, have the property. They are the same, because they are the same in the excellent relative body and the mandala of wisdom. Fourth, the dharmas of samsara and nirvana, have the property. Although they appear in many ways, they are not so when measured from the way of being, because the nature of mind is originally abiding in the nature of the great wisdom of self-arising without birth. Second, the reason why the sound is the same but the meaning is different is that the words are famous in both sutra and mantra, and the meaning is determined in the mantra's own system, so it is particularly different. The divisions are: self-common, free from extremes, various divisions, and indicative reasoning, etc. The second, the reasoning of inconsistent words and meanings is to establish the object to be proven. 1. The five poisons, have the property. They are not truly established, because their respective essences are empty. For example, a variegated rope appears as a snake, but the snake is not established in its essence. 2. All phenomena of inner and outer appearances, have the property. There is no attachment to the extremes of elaboration and the middle dependent on them, because they are truly free from one and many. 3. A pot, has the property. It is not established by nature, because it has many dharmas such as shape and color, so it is not one aspect of the external object. Like the collection of materials for a bow. 4. The nature of mind, has the property. Nothing is established, because it cannot be grasped. Like the sky. 5. The nature of mind, has the property. Because nothing is truly established, it is nothing, because it is not ceased in appearance, and because it is self-appearing, it is everything. It is taught in a reversed way from the perspective of the two agents in name, as it is said in the Stages of the Path: Because it signifies everything. The mind-dharma is nothing. Therefore, since it is not everything, it is everything, so everything is spontaneously accomplished. Having determined in this way, the meaning of the view to be realized, the nature, cause, and essence, is suchness, which is directly realized by self-awareness in a non-objective and self-illuminating way, which is the tenet. As it is said in the Stages of the Path: Like an image in a clear ocean. Without relying on sound to focus on the mind, self-awareness is directly free from focus, self-illuminating, free from three, and unmoving.

Lavar. What is definitely relied upon? The view based on hearing and thinking reaches the ultimate. Thus it is said. Refuting arguments: Some say, Because the view is particularly superior, Dzogchen is the most supreme. The special characteristic of mantra is not the view. How can there be anything superior to Madhyamaka? As it is said, Those who consider the tenets of mantra to be merely distinguished by the particularly superior means of the Madhyamaka view are unreasonable. Although Madhyamaka and Mantra are in agreement in viewing the ultimate truth as free from elaboration and the conventional truth as merely illusory, the view of Mantra cannot be established by that alone. How is it? The uncommon view of Mantra is due to the reason that it must be established as the great equality of the pure essence of the indivisible truth. If they say: You consider the cause continuum, that unchanging awareness, to be the Tathagatagarbha. Such things also come from the profound definitive sutras of the final turning of the wheel, and its commentaries, the Uttaratantra, etc., so there is no difference in the object to be realized? It is true that making unchanging awareness the cause continuum is similar to what is said in the final turning of the wheel, but still it does not establish the uncommon view of Mantra. When the Tathagatagarbha is established as the cause continuum in this unsurpassed Tantra, it is done so as the nature of the coemergent, unchanging great bliss, which is considered by the Buddhas and their heirs to be a special characteristic of Mantra. As it is said in the Vajra Mirror: What dwells in the hearts of beings, Is the form of self-born, uncontaminated wisdom, The indestructible bindu of great bliss, Pervading all like the sky, Is the nature of the non-abiding Dharmakaya. And as it is said in the Kalachakra: In this realm, the subtle and coarse forms of the three realms are not form but consciousness, the Tathagata has no self-nature. The words that the Buddha's wisdom does not abide anywhere will show the Buddhas. Those who, separated from change and immutability, grasp emptiness and view it as empty, Therefore, the Lord has taught that whatever unmoving, coemergent bodily bliss is taught in the Mantrayana. And as it is said in the Two Examinations: From hell beings, pretas, and animals, To gods, demigods, and humans, And even worms in excrement, Why do they not know that bliss?
