The precious throwing is: Throwing flowers on any mandala, whether it is the outer mandala or the guru's body mandala, to observe which deity has a karmic connection. It says: After the mandala appears in the mind, whether it is what is desired or something else, throw it and carefully observe the connection. This is the twelfth, establishing the deity, which has two aspects, outer and inner. The outer establishment of the deity is: Placing the flower on the crown of the disciple's head, inviting whichever yidam deity it is, and merging with it, thinking that it is inseparable from the nectar water in the heart. The former says: Iron hook: ཨེ་ཧིས་?བ? (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Chinese literal meaning)means to summon, clarifying the actions of sin and merit, merging the mudra and making it stable. So it is said. The inner is: Giving a secret name that matches the lineage, and meditating and reciting to establish that deity. Here, some ancient people establish any one of the three: the deity of liking, the deity of arrival, and the deity of increase. The first is: Because whichever deity one likes, one becomes connected with action and compassion, therefore meditate on that deity. The second is: Because the karmic connection is deep and accomplishment is quick, therefore meditate on the deity on which the flower falls. The third is: It is said to only meditate on the main deity of the mandala. Those are not unreasonable either. As it says in the "Explanation of the Fifty Verses on the Guru, Ornament of Difficult Points": By liberation through signs, the hundred-giver, when entering the great mandala, whichever deity the flower falls on, or because all Buddhas are one, take the deity of liking as the yidam. So it is said. The thirteenth, what should be strived for is: Through showing the benefits and harms, exhorting to meditate on that deity. It says: If one guards the wisdom of equality, it will surely appear quickly, and great miracles will surely occur. If one practices without faith, one will decline. Also, as it says in the "Stages": Abandoning the deity, doing good is meaningless, whoever abandons this mudra, will be born in the three lower realms, and will not be able to attain the fruit of enlightenment. It also says: Combining oneself with the deity, even if the qualities are small, one will be able to accomplish, because one is completely separated from one and many, all mandalas will be accomplished. So it is said. Moreover, in the practice of the lineage, the inner deity establishment and what should be strived for are done below in conjunction with showing the mandala. The fourteenth, opening the eyes is: From the heart of the vajra acharya, rays of light radiate downwards like a stream, dispelling the disciple's ignorance.

Having removed the blindfold, contemplate seeing the mandala of wisdom, open your eyes, and remove the veil. From that, rays of light pour down like rain. And so on. The fifteenth is showing the mandala, taking gold and other symbolic objects, indicating with a staff, etc., and explaining in detail the meaning, symbols, and suchness of the deities of the mandala. The sixteenth is offering, from the previous it says: If you desire empowerment and accomplishment, you should be extremely diligent in this. Therefore, offer whatever you can afford, and it also says here: Then the supreme son of the lineage. And so on. Its merit also says: If you offer with the five perfections. And so on, one verse is spoken. If you are too poor to actually offer, then promise to offer later, and think of offering your body, possessions, and everything else without reservation in your mind, and offer the mandala. These are the entrance rituals. What are the benefits of entering? There are four. First, entering this mandala has the merit of entering all mandalas, as it says in the ritual: Having entered well into the net of illusion, those who have gone to the ten directions and four times, have entered into all mandalas. And so on. The second is: Entering here, you will have the same qualifications as those who have previously attained the final path in Akanishta, it says here: Desires and wishes will be equally fulfilled. And, from the "Joint Practice" it says, seeing Vajrasattva and others, the merit of seeing the wheel of samsara and nirvana, whatever is done later is the same. And so on. Third, even just having faith in this place, you will be regarded as a close son by all the Victorious Ones, it says here: Whoever has faith in this. And so on, it is truthfully declared. Fourth, entering here, you will easily obtain all accomplishments, as it says in the ritual: The lineage of Vajradhara is certain, repelling all demons and abandoning evil destinies, the accumulation of enjoyments is of two kinds, it is definitely the basis of the eye of wisdom. And so on, supremely inconceivable. Thus it is said. Third, the empowerment is divided into: the connecting part, the actual empowerment, and the subsequent sequence. The first is: The disciple prostrates and prays, gives the bone ashes, circumambulates the mandala and praises it, and then lifts it to the sky, the Tathagata...
