Firstly, in order to increase the child's lifespan, from the union of the guru, a red crescent-shaped single-doored palace is emanated at the child's brow. In its center, a bluish-gray Hūṃ (ཧཱུཾ，हूँ，hūṃ，种子字) is generated, gathering all the child's life essence, transforming into the Hūṃ (ཧཱུཾ，हूँ，hūṃ，种子字). Contemplate that life is protected by Acala (immovable one). Then, by Viśva-vajra's emanation, dispel obstacles with the Sumba mantra. From this: The wrathful assembly of life-protecting union, dispels obstructing obstacles, cuts off boundaries. Thus it is said. Sixth, visualizing as the deity: From the seed syllables of the five hero families on the fingers, generate the five male and female families, revealing the truth. By forming mudras and snapping the fingers, the light emitted from the union burns away the child's obscurations, dissolving into light, through three rituals. Depending on whether it is peaceful or wrathful, visualize Vajrasattva or Vajra Heruka. Wear armor and protect the body. From this: Through the ritual of purifying obscurations and cleansing consciousness, from Hūṃ (ཧཱུཾ，हूँ，hūṃ，种子字) generate Sattva or another deity. Thus it is said. Seventh, bestowing the vows: Bless the nectar as body, speech, and mind, recite the words and mantras of glorious Vajradhara, etc., and the radiance of the three syllables merging, bestow the three vows. From this: The five nectars of the great vow, the three syllables of self-nature, body, speech, and mind, bless with splendor, called the supreme vow discipline. Thus it is said. Eighth, entrusting: Entrust the vows themselves with words, placing the vajra at the heart, reciting the secret of all Buddhas, etc. Ninth, water confession: From this, mix white and red sandalwood, perform the consecration of Vajradhara. Thus it is said, visualize the sandalwood water as Vajra Yaksha, saying: This is your water of hell. Thus, etc., show the pitfalls of not guarding, placing it on the tongue three times. Again, visualize the water as Vajrasattva, saying: Therefore, child you. Thus, etc., generate the joy of the benefits of guarding, placing it on the tongue three times, and perform the water confession. Tenth, proclaiming: Place the palms with the vajra on the child's head, with the mind of skillful means and wisdom. Thus, etc., proclaim that this vehicle should be practiced according to the scriptures. Eleventh.
