Secondly, the practice combining the realization of the wrathful ones. The common preliminaries have been discussed. Here, there are two parts: the main practice and the subsequent practice. The first part concerns the necessity of samadhi and the actual practice of it. The first point is that, as stated in the 'Noble Ornament': 'Suffering arises from the power of grasping, to subdue the fierce ones of the three realms, and to stabilize great pride, practice the samadhi of the net of illusion.' Just as the victorious ones of the past, with compassion, wrathfully subdued the fierce realms, so too, in the future, followers should vow to accomplish the deeds of the Buddhas with great compassion, in order to subdue beings who are difficult to tame. This is the ritual of generating the mind of enlightenment at the beginning. Secondly, there are three samadhis: the samadhi of the mandala and the samadhi of the order of activities. The first has three parts. That samadhi is: Emaho! Wonderful and amazing dharma! The secret of all perfect Buddhas! All are born from the unborn! In the very moment of birth, there is no birth! And so on. The all-samadhi is: Emaho! Samantabhadri! From the great bliss, free from elaboration, from the bindu, in emptiness, perfectly clear, contemplate the object of compassion. And so on. The cause-samadhi is: Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ,hūṃ,hūṃ,seed syllable). From certainty, a great vajra arises. From that, the glorious Heruka. Blazing greatly with nine dances. Fierce as a time of terror. Thus, with the awareness-essence Hūṃ, blue, clear, and stable, possessing eight qualities, through the union of radiating and gathering, visualize a nine-pointed vajra, blue. As it radiates and gathers, dissolving into light, from that arises the Heruka of the causal stage, complete in color, holding a vajra and a skull cup. There are different opinions regarding the color of this body. Lhaje Drolma Pa and Lama Drakta Pa and others consider it blue, while Taton Ziji considers it dark purple. The blue vajra represents the unchanging mind, and the dark purple color represents the ability to change into anything, so one should not think that these two colors contradict each other. He also made a defense against this fault, saying that this is the intention of his own guru. Secondly, generating the support and the supported. The first is: generating the lower base, actually generating the palace, and generating the seat. The first is: from the Hūṃ at the heart of the self-generating Heruka, the seed syllable is emitted, and through the activity of radiating and gathering, the space of the five Krodhis.

The nature of the sphere. Meditating on the sky, wind, blood, and the provincial land marked by mountains of skeletons, and the flames, etc. Rejoicing in the great charnel ground, and so on. In the Ornament of the Holy Dharma, it says: The great charnel ground is extremely terrifying, in the midst of the churning ocean of blood, above the great mountain range of skeletons, in the center of the blazing expanse. And so on. Secondly, in the center of the fire, from the dark blue-black (Tibetan: བྷྲུཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: भ्रुं, Sanskrit Romanization: bhrūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: seed syllable), through the method of emanation and absorption, one meditates on the palace. It has three aspects: shape, material, and cause. First, the blazing four-spoked wheel, adorned with four trapezoids, the quadrangle possessing four doorways. And so on, the meaning of what is said, and the shape that has become the symbol representing it, is mostly similar to the peaceful deities. The color is a golden four-spoked wheel in the center of a green trapezoid, with a dark blue circumference and center. In particular, it is necessary to adorn it with two blazing corridors that symbolize the two truths, namely the inner golden corridor and the outer blood corridor. The corners and doors are the colors of their respective directions. Regarding the steps, in the Vajra Mirror it says: The four steps are explained for the purpose of subduing the inner and outer causes and effects of malice. According to this meaning, the former ones consider that the four doors of both the inner and outer corridors are adorned with eight steps, but the meaning of the scripture is not definite there. Because they consider that the eight steps of cause, which symbolize the eight vehicles of inner and outer, and the eight steps of result, which are the perfection of its qualities, are all present on the four doors. Therefore, here, according to the intention of one's own venerable guru, the direction of not placing steps on the inner door is good. Secondly, the earlier ones thought that the outer layer of the palace was made of precious jewels, and the inner layer was made of skulls. However, the Vajra says: In the mandala for subduing malice, there are five and three kinds of skulls, and a wall of dry skulls in four layers. Therefore, the assertion that both inner and outer are piled with skulls is harmful. One's own system is: the outer layer is piled with five layers of skulls, and the inner layer is piled with three layers of dry, wet, and decayed skulls. The meaning of the scripture saying "wall of dry skulls" is that it is a trapezoidal wall, as asserted by Horse Master Glorious. Its method is: starting from the trapezoidal corridor, piling up skulls in the form of a square platform.
