La, the nature of the diverse form bodies that are pervaded, not moving from the Dharmakaya, therefore there is no different lineage, so it is separated from multiplicity. The extremes of both and neither of it do not exist. Because one and many are not established, its extremes are blocked. Other than that, even the Buddhas cannot see it, because it transcends the realm of the seen and the seer. Therefore, the intention is self-illuminating without object and subject. Likewise: That which is separated from one and many, without beginning and middle, is suchness. Even the Buddhas do not see it, self-arisen wisdom, appearance without a place. So it is said. Third, regarding the categories, there are categories of names, essence, and places. First, in the Lamrim it says: The number of unique Buddha names, Sugata, Tathagata, Bhagavan and Buddha, Great Joy, etc., are inconceivable. So it is said. Second, there are common and supreme ones. First, there are two, the support and the supported. The first is the three bodies, as it says here: Dharmakaya immeasurable, inexpressible, Enjoyment, inexhaustible treasure of jewels, Emanations, billions, inconceivable. So it is said. The second is the four wisdoms, as it says in the Ornament of the Sutras: Mirror wisdom is unmoving, The three wisdoms depend on it. Equality and individual discernment, Accomplishing activities alone. So it is said. Second, there are appearances as distinct categories, and the essence of spontaneous accomplishment without separation. First, there are three: extensive, intermediate, and concise. The first is extensive: each of the five, body, speech, mind, qualities, and activities, is inconceivable. Among them, body is, as it says here: The all-pervading body is inconceivable. So it is said. Speech is, the all-pervading speech is inconceivable. So it is said. Mind is, the all-pervading mind is inconceivable. So it is said. Qualities are, as it says in the extensive text: Because it is adorned with the eye of wisdom, Fields and qualities are inconceivable. So it is said. Activities are, as it says here: In the dust-like worlds of the ten directions, The deeds of the Victorious Ones are like specks of dust, Emanations, countless dust particles, Spontaneously accomplished in an instant. So it is said. Second, if divided into intermediate, in the root text it says: Also, five fives in each case. So each one is also five fives. Among them, the first

The five bodies are: The nature of realizing one's own benefit to the ultimate, the wisdom of awareness liberated in the realm of space, is the Dharmakaya. Regarding this, it is said: "Although it does not move from suchness." And: "The eternal body without birth or death." Thus, without moving from that, in the presence of the pure tenth-ground beings to be tamed, the dependent body itself transforms into the uncontaminated, appearing with the unique marks and signs of the cause and effect, is the Sambhogakaya. Regarding this, it is said: "The form body of true liberation." Thus, for the impure beings to be tamed in the six realms, appearing in various ways according to their inclinations and accomplishing their benefit, is the Nirmanakaya. Regarding this, it is said: "For the sake of taming all beings, it manifests various bodies in accordance." Thus, although appearing as two form bodies, they have no inherent existence. Not moving from the Dharmakaya, or the Dharmakaya and the form body being inseparable, is the Vajrakaya. Regarding this, it is said: "The manifestation is like a mirage or an eye disease, the manifestation itself does not move from the realm of space." Thus, they are spontaneously perfect in the wisdom of awareness, and without moving from the Dharmakaya, they appear in various ways according to the karma of the beings to be tamed. This is the Abhisambodhikaya. Regarding this, it is said: "Although not moving, it is various. At that time, to the various dissimilarities, each appears as the same. Although not moving from suchness, it appears separately by the power of karmic connections." Thus, secondly, the five speeches are: The teacher possesses the nature of communicating symbols to his retinue through the five bodies. That is, the nature of reality being free from speech, in terms of being the basis of all that is to be expressed, is the Dharmakaya, the speech of unborn meaning. Regarding this, it is said: "Transcending all sounds, names, and words, various sounds clearly arise." Thus, just as a mirror recognizes and removes the dirt on the face, the symbolic communication of the body shows the meaning to the minds of the retinue, is the Sambhogakaya, the speech of symbolic meaning. Thus: "Thus, the supreme speech does not speak, the body shows the measure of all dharmas." Thus, in accordance with the sound that tames whatever is to be tamed, teaching the Dharma simultaneously, is the Nirmanakaya, the speech of spoken words. The unspeakable itself is the various sounds, appearing to all and measuring individually. Thus, all sounds are inseparable from appearance and emptiness, therefore liberated from the two extremes, is the indivisible Vajra.
