So. At that time, the transformation of the Alaya, the basis of meaning, is clear and non-conceptual, becoming the basis for the remaining three wisdoms, which is the mirror-like wisdom. The transformation of the afflicted mind, without good or bad acceptance or rejection, is the wisdom of equality. The transformation of the mind, knowing all phenomena of the three times of knowable objects, clear and unmixed like lotus petals, is the wisdom of discriminating awareness. The transformation of the five senses, without hindrance in accomplishing the welfare of beings, is the wisdom of accomplishing activities. As the Ornament of Clear Realization states: The wisdom of emptiness has no things; the mirror-like wisdom has no concepts; the wisdom of equality has no good or bad; the wisdom of discriminating awareness is clear and unmixed; accomplishment is diligent and ultimate. Thus. Also, as the Compendium of Sutra Meanings states: The nature of mind, that very suchness, appears as the wisdom of the Dharmadhatu. The root consciousness appears as the mirror-like wisdom. The object-oriented consciousness appears as the wisdom of equality. The all-appearing consciousness appears as the wisdom of discriminating awareness. The entering consciousness appears as the wisdom of accomplishing activities. Thus. It is also said similarly in the common treatises. As Chandragomin's Buddha Ground states: Whatever is the Alaya consciousness, that transforms into the mirror-like wisdom. That is also the nature of the Dharmadhatu, truly clear in its essence. The transformation of the afflicted mind is considered to be the wisdom of equality. The transformation of the mind consciousness is called discriminating awareness. The transformation of the five sense consciousnesses, that is the accomplishment of all purposes. Thus. Second, some say, does the wisdom of knowledge, in a single moment, perceive or not perceive the phenomena of the past and future? If according to the second view, it contradicts the Two Truths, which states: With a single moment of wisdom, it pervades the entire mandala of knowable objects. If according to the first view, since it directly knows the non-existent phenomena of what has ceased and what has not arisen, it would be a fault of mistaken cognition, confused about the object of perception. It is not so, because it knows that the past has already happened, the future can happen, and the present has arisen and has not ceased, self-luminous and without grasping. Therefore, there is no fault. Also, if asked whether the wisdom of knowledge knows liberation without having practiced the path, the answer is: it does not know. If so, then it is all-knowing.
