At the time of completion, if the illusory body is not stable, then the three vajras of mind abide, and one becomes the ripening awareness holder. Thereafter, one is like a fearless garuda. Thus it is said. The path of seeing with empowerment is life empowerment, because one has become a vajra body. In the Stages of the Path, it says: 'The vajra body transforms into the lineage of life, seeing the Dharma and passing into sorrowlessness, without abandoning the body, becoming the ground of the victorious ones, all fears are gone, and miraculous powers are perfected.' Thus it is said. Here, Gyalwa Yung says that in the Kalachakra, it is said that three signs are seen. In the first sign, when one of the 21,600 winds ceases, one obtains the supreme unchanging bliss, which is seeing a part of the truth of Dharma-nature. The intermediate sign is when one karma wind ceases, two cease, and when 8,000 cease, one knot of the secret place is untied, and the truth of Dharma-nature is directly seen, as it is said that one attains the first ground. Here also, it is said that one sees a part of the truth of ripening and the self-nature of life empowerment. Therefore, it should be understood that the path of seeing of the Mantrayana without empowerment, the ripening, and the Very Joyful of the Nominal Vehicle are of the same view. Although the life empowerment with empowerment is the same as the first ground and the path of seeing of the Paramita Vehicle, it is considered to be the same as the view of the eighth ground Bodhisattva. From this, it can be known that although the eighth ground of the Cause Vehicle and the Great Seal are the same on the path of meditation, the view is the same as the path of the end of the cause. Although the tenth ground Bodhisattva of the Cause Vehicle and the Spontaneously Accomplished Awareness Holder are the same on the path of the end, the view is the same as Samantabhadra. In the Compendium of Views, it says: 'Although the first ground of the cause is the same, the ocean of views and conduct is different.' Also in the Small Path, it says: 'That is also the first ground and the first ground, the excellent lineage of the same two, is the same as the eighth ground Bodhisattva, the third is the same as the tenth ground, but the ocean of views and conduct is superior.' Considering this meaning, Nubchen said: 'The place where Samantabhadra abides is the actual spontaneously accomplished awareness holder here.' In short, it should be known that these not only summarize the special ten grounds of the Vajrayana, but also summarize the qualities of the grounds of the Nominal Vehicle.

Furthermore, as the general tenet of the causal vehicle asserts the gradual progression through the ten bhumis via the ten perfections, this [tantra] states, "The perfections are all completely perfected." Thus, the view and conduct of this [tantra] are perfected simultaneously. The way in which the view is perfected is as follows: When the meaning of non-duality is ultimately realized, giving arises from not clinging to anything; morality arises from not being attached to anything; patience arises from not fearing the meaning of non-duality; meditative concentration arises from not wavering from that state; diligence arises from not being distracted from that state at any time; wisdom arises from being clear in self-awareness; aspiration arises from that being manifested; skillful means arises from not seeking results from elsewhere; power arises from overwhelming wrong views; and the perfection of wisdom arises from the meaning of suchness being manifestly clear. The way in which conduct is perfected is that non-duality arises from not clinging to the practice of the ten perfections. Moreover, it is said, "The distinctions of the bhumis are thirteen, and the distinctions of cause and effect are spontaneously accomplished." The three among these are the three resultant bhumis of the mantra's own system. When these are divided into two parts with the ten bhumis of the causal and resultant vehicles, they become the ten bhumis of the causal vehicle. However, all effort is absent, and they are perfected in one spontaneously accomplished wisdom. Seeing self-essence as equality is the first bhumi, the Joyful; purifying extreme wrong views is the second, the Immaculate; mind-essence being self-luminous, there is no obstruction to benefiting beings, so it is the third, the Illuminating; self-awareness appearing at all times is the fourth, the Fiery; accomplishing both purposes at once is the fifth, the Difficult to Train; mind-essence being self-luminous in the absence of objects is the sixth, the Manifest; being far removed from extreme views is the seventh, the Far-Reaching; not focusing on objects of distraction is the eighth, the Immovable; possessing the wisdom of spontaneously accomplished qualities is the ninth, the Good Intelligence; and becoming the source of those qualities is called the tenth bhumi, the Cloud of Dharma. These are mentioned incidentally, so enough of elaboration. Secondly, the path of liberation is entered into all at once, and it is determined by necessity, essence, names, and classification. The first is for the sake of those with sharp faculties quickly attaining the result. The second is for the sake of perfecting the habituation of realization all at once. The third is divided by the three characteristics as before. First, the view is that the reality of all phenomena is...
