The phrases "will be explained" and "at the time" do not refer to an occasional time, but rather to the meaning spoken of in the constant and continuous wheel of dharma. It is evident that it is summarized by taking the aspects that are uncommon with other tantras. As stated in the extensive commentary of "Sunlight Lion," saying "explained" indicates that the teacher and retinue are inseparable. And so on. Also, in "Sparkha," it says, "It is an uncommon beginning, because it is different from other tantras." Because of saying these things. Someone says, "Then, in the beginning of the peaceful gathering of the Hevajra Root Tantra, it should also logically appear 'at the time when it was said thus,' because in that tantra, it is said that the teacher and retinue are one tantra, because it is said, 'I am the great king, and I myself am the one who teaches and listens.'" Answer: There is no fault. Although it is true that the teacher and retinue are the same without difference, this tantra is spoken from the perspective of not showing difference, while the Hevajra and other uncommon tantras are spoken from the perspective of showing difference, only that much, because the objects to be tamed are known to have different inclinations. I have not included the pervasive boundaries. Furthermore, if one does not say 'Thus have I heard at one time,' it will become not a true teaching, then the Chakrasamvara Root Tantra and the Manjushri Namasamgiti, etc., should also become like that. Because it is not said that way, because it is said, 'After this, the secret will be explained,' and 'After this, the glorious Vajradhara.' Therefore, in the explanation of the Ornament for Clear Realization, it says, 'This is a different establishment, so one should never rely on the tenets of other vehicles to make refutations.' Having understood this, act with caution. Secondly, the common beginning has two types: the beginning of tantric differences and the beginning of the general arising of the teachings. The first also has the actual beginning and the incidental beginning of the needs of the objects to be tamed. The first is shown by the first chapter of this tantra. When explaining it, there are two types: a summary and an extensive explanation. The first is that the six perfections of 'Thus it was said,' etc., are identified as before and combined with the extensive explanation. The common beginning mentioned here is in relation to the previous "uncommon," otherwise this is also uncommon.

Yes. Where? Which teacher? At what time, abiding with which retinue, was such a Dharma heard? Like this, it should be explained that the teachers and retinues are different, the Dharma vehicles are diverse, and the times are occasionally different, but here it is not explained in that way. Because of "at the time of saying this," etc., its meaning can be known from the extensive explanation. Therefore, the lamas say that this is the beginning of the common and the special. Why? If one thinks that the common and the special are contradictory, they are not contradictory. The meaning of its name is that the ancient sages such as Glan Tikapa, etc., are the same in name only in the Akanishta realm, but here it is distinguished by the Akanishta realm of the Great Lord. The teacher is the same only in the Sambhogakaya, but is distinguished by the Sixth Conqueror. The retinue is the same only in the Bodhisattvas, but is distinguished by the Bodhisattvas of the fruition. The teachings are the same only in the path of liberation, but are distinguished by the secret essence of the path of special liberation. Therefore, it is said to be the beginning of the common and the special. Second, the extensive explanation is, in the Later Tantra, it says: "The teacher and so on are well distinguished, and are said to be the five perfections." Also, in the Heart Sutra, it says: "Teacher, place, retinue, and collection, and the teachings are known by time." Therefore, from the five or six perfections, the first is the teacher, and the teacher also has two kinds: the nature of the teacher and the person who speaks. The first is the Sixth Bhagavan, the general form of Samantabhadra. As it says in the Heart Sutra: "The teacher's nature has eight qualities, the self-nature maker is Samantabhadra." It is also. Among them, there are two kinds: the nature of the teacher and the essence. The first has two kinds: meaning and determination. The first is that the teacher's intention, the self-born wisdom itself, the Dharma nature, and all the Dharmas and Dharma nature that include samsara and nirvana are inseparable and abide, which is the self-nature. The second is that Bimala explained the four self-natures. In the Small Commentary, it says: "The essence of the supreme Bodhi, the enjoyment of the play of all Dharmas, the lord of the Sugatas of the directions and times, and all Dharmas are inseparable." It is also. In Sparka, it says: "The qualities of the Sixth Conqueror are infinite, and are summarized as seven." These are the seven self-natures. In the Heart Sutra, it says: "Divided into truth and perfection, divided into eight kinds of explanations." Summarized as two, the first is the past Dharma.
