That, what is it? Ema, etc., abiding equally in the five bodies and initiating discussion, bestowing empowerment and explaining the tantra, purifying obscurations and attaining Buddhahood is inevitable. The co-emergent ones attain Buddhahood in the nature of the five bodies, and the teacher and retinue become of one intention. Because it has not become the realm of experience for those who have opened their minds, it is secret. That is, the Dharmakaya that is neither born nor unborn, the Sambhogakaya that is neither interrupted nor continuous, the Nirmanakaya that is neither dwelling nor non-dwelling, the Vajrakaya that is neither focused nor unfocused, and the Nirmanakaya that is neither going nor coming but appears from there, and generating these five minds. By saying this, they are pleased with the qualities of obtaining empowerment, and the teacher and retinue become inseparable in intention. These are also as stated in the root tantra: For sentient beings with attachment, there is no abandonment, teaching with the complete enjoyment body and consorts, and non-dual play, etc., in order to liberate those who are the same in the same way. In the second aspect, there are two types: understanding the meaning and determining the meaning. The first is that the co-emergent ones do not need to request the tantra for their own enlightenment, but for the sake of other enlightened retinues, those sealed with the four secrets, they request to explain the tantra. Then, the teacher generates compassion and explains the tantra in six ways of joy, and for those who do not have the fortune to realize this tantra, in order to show other vehicles of the path stages, he emanates six Thubpas and promises to expound inconceivable Dharma doors, which is the common initiation of discussion. As that tantra says: The common initiation of discussion, the teacher and retinue, from the appearance of difference, obtain empowerment, after realizing it themselves, for the benefit of beings, give requests and answers in words, give permission in meaning, and show joy in body, speech, and mind. So it is said. In the second aspect, there are two types: the request of the retinue and the permission of the teacher. The first is that for the sake of the disciples who are sealed with the four secrets, they request to explain the tantra, and then all the Tathagatas, together with the retinue of consorts, spoke this verse: Ema, originally the secret Dharma, for the sake of etc., please accept us with compassion. Because of saying this. The second is that, therefore, all Dharmas are originally enlightened, so although there is no difference, But compassion arises for those who have not realized it, and the co-

Therefore, to joyfully teach the Dharma of natural accomplishment, this special verse is recited. What is that verse? As it says in the 'Emaho! Tathagatagarbha,' etc., all beings possess the Tathagatagarbha. Due to non-realization, bondage and liberation appear, but in reality, neither bondage nor liberation is established. As the 'Buddha Samayoga Tantra' says: 'Who is bound, who binds, who is the binder? The self-grasping sentient being is the embodiment of suffering. Since all are the nature of mind, even the name of self-grasping does not exist. Therefore, when both are absent, there is no liberator either.' To show that meaning, to teach the Buddha Dharma that is naturally perfect from the beginning, various joys are displayed. Such as smiling, moving the eyebrows, changing the eyes, straightening the body, extending the hand, emitting light and emanations, these six ways of joy. Explaining the tantra for the sake of special disciples is from the latter part of the third chapter onwards; how to rejoice for the sake of common disciples is related to the beginning of the third chapter.
