Furthermore, starting from the ten virtues, its Dharma is thoroughly distinguished, as it is said. Also, according to the *Laṅkāvatāra Sūtra*, "Brahmā's Vehicle." The Brahmā mentioned here is not limited to the three realms of Brahmā. From the sound of Brahmā, Brahmā implies purity and cleanliness. If one is purified or cleansed from the afflictions of desire, then it is Brahmā. Considering the broad meaning of the sound, all twenty-one places, including the seventeen realms of the form realm gods in the higher realms and the four realms of the formless realm, are referred to as Brahmā. The path to reach there, along with its related aspects, is called Brahmā's Vehicle. That is, through *śamatha* (calm abiding) and *vipaśyanā* (insight), observing the grossness of one's own lower ground and carefully observing one's own ground, one is said to be born in a higher realm by abandoning the afflictions of the lower ground through the power of meditation. Therefore, if one does not attain the actual basis of the path that separates attachment to one's own lower ground, which is either the four *dhyānas* (meditations) or the four formless absorptions, one cannot be born in a higher realm. Therefore, the two, form and formless realms, are the actual Brahmā's Vehicle. The four immeasurables and the five mundane *abhijñās* (supernormal knowledges) are considered the path of special qualities of Brahmā's Vehicle. For these, the view is the result of actions, the entrance is discipline, abandoning the ten non-virtues, and the conduct is practicing the ten virtues, as before, plus practicing the four immeasurables: loving-kindness, compassion, joy, and equanimity. In terms of meditation, there are two types of absorptions: form and formless. The first is the four *dhyānas*, characterized by aversion to the feelings of desire. As stated in the *Madhyamaka-kārikā*: "With investigation and analysis is the first *dhyāna*. Without investigation, only analysis is the second *dhyāna*. Without investigation and analysis, only mental engagement is the third *dhyāna*. Abandoning joy and pleasure, mental engagement is the fourth *dhyāna*." The second is the four absorptions characterized by aversion to the consciousness of the four *dhyānas*, namely the absorption of infinite space, the absorption of infinite consciousness, the absorption of nothingness, and the absorption of neither perception nor non-perception, which is the ultimate path to the peak of existence. These are also mentioned in the extensive commentary: "Practicing the four immeasurables, meditating on the immovable, Brahmā's abode."

It is the cause of arising from earth and so on. Thus it is said. Regarding the result, there are also two types: form and formless. The first is that by meditating on the actual small, medium, and large of the first dhyana, one is born in the three realms of Brahma, etc., corresponding to the twelve abodes of ordinary beings. In the fourth dhyana, one cultivates the uncontaminated wisdom of the noble ones and meditates in five stages, then one is born in the five pure abodes such as the Non-Great. However, since one has not obtained detachment from form and is attached to the taste of dhyana, one wanders in samsara. As the Lamrim says: The four immeasurables and the four dhyanas, each in turn grasping at self, perceiving all forms as self, this is to be born in the Brahma realms in order. Thus it is said. The second is that due to the lack of higher insight wisdom, one grasps at the samadhi associated with the four aggregates as self, and thus is born as a formless deity. From that, it says: Not realizing equanimity and formlessness, not knowing the absence of the four aggregates, if one transmigrates to the four formless realms, one is born as a deity at the peak of existence. Thus it is said. The second is divided into general and specific explanations. The first is that regarding the meaning of "not realizing and wrongly conceiving" in this very text, the previous teachers had different views. The teacher Nyima Oser Senge considered not realizing to be the three: vulgar, distant, and dark, and wrongly conceiving to be the tirthikas. The teacher Gekdor considered not realizing to be vulgar, and wrongly conceiving to be the two extremes of eternalism and nihilism of the tirthikas. Vimalamitra's view is that in the Smaller Commentary it says: In general, not realizing is vulgar and distant, and wrongly conceiving is dark and tirthika. The Great Teacher Padmasambhava's instruction manual, the Garland of Views, also states the same. The Omniscient Dharma Lord considered not realizing to be the schools that maintain the status quo, and wrongly conceiving to be the schools of the tirthikas. Even so, the majority of the Rong and Zur traditions follow the Smaller Commentary and the Garland of Views, so here too, it will be explained in the same way. The second is divided into not realizing and wrongly conceiving. The first is divided into understanding and classification. The first is an ordinary person whose mind has not been changed by philosophical tenets. The second is divided into actual and incidental. The first, the actual not realizing, is the vulgar person of the world. It has three aspects: nature, definition, and classification. The nature is:
