Wishing for illusion. That enters into a single mudra. Abiding in elaboration and accumulating merit. Reaching the end of the four vidyadharas. The second is, from that. "The three see abide possessing four, the fifth unites with the fifth." Therefore, for view, there are three: movement, wish, and entry, and abiding in the four from that samadhi to elaboration, reaching the end in accumulating merit. The third is, from that. "Or yoga one possesses five." Therefore, counting the way each path possesses five minds, it is easy to understand. Second, the five minds of the path of means are, from the twenty-one elements. "Entry and rising and abiding, wishing is also bodhicitta. Movement and going and rising and abiding." And so on. That is also, when the practitioner practices the path of means, when the bindu slightly moves from the root place, the way bliss begins to rise is the moving and rising bodhicitta. The previous bliss disappears and enters the later bliss is the disappearing and entering bodhicitta. The body's channels and bindus all abide in their own places, so bliss also arises and abides without ceasing is the abiding bodhicitta. Focusing on the previous bliss and wishing for the later bliss is the wishing bodhicitta. With the union of dropping and reversing the bindu, the bodhicitta abides going and coming at the tip of the vajra and lotus is the going and coming bodhicitta. Here some, if the nature of the path is five minds, then what does the practitioner do? If they argue like that, the answer is, from the basis of the arising of the five minds, it is the practitioner, and from the aspect of the arising itself, it is the nature of the path, so there is no fault. This is what the previous lamas said. Third, the meaning of the sound is, because it has not become an object to be practiced by the common practitioners of essence and relation, it is called a special path. As the Later Tantra says. "The yogic conduct, the meaning of the essence, is not spoken to the Shravakas, and even to the most excellent bhikshu, it is the most secret of secrets." And so on. Fourth, the divisions have, the difference of substance and distinction. The first is, in the root text. "The uncommon is divided into two." Therefore, it is divided into two. What are the two? The path of wisdom completely liberated and the path determined by means. As the Ocean says. "In the path of liberation, means are taught." And so on. Second, there are three: negation, establishment, and abandonment. The first is,

Jomo Do said: The path of means that demonstrates power and bliss, practicing through the three wisdoms is the path of liberation. Most of the former lamas, possessing the key instructions of means, even if they use afflictions, they are not bound and demonstrate liberation, this is the path of means. Combining the meaning of the nature of reality with the three wisdoms is the path of liberation. Both of these views are not well understood. According to the first view, since it does not demonstrate power and bliss, this manifest liberation is not the path of means. If you accept, then it contradicts what is said as the path of means, "The wonderful means of liberation from bad migrations." According to the second view, since it demonstrates the means of liberation without abandoning afflictions, then all secret mantras should become the path of means. If you accept, then there is absolutely no path of liberation in secret mantras. It is not possible to accept, because in the Three Stages, it says, "The Middle Way is of two kinds, the path of liberation is shown as means." Therefore, it contradicts. The second is that mainly through the door of the three wisdoms, liberation from bondage through the entry of knowledge, thereby accomplishing the result, is the path of liberation. As it is said, "In the mandala of complete wisdom, through the combination of hearing, thinking, and meditating, self-arisen and spontaneous accomplishment." Mainly through the door of means and key instructions, using bondage with asceticism, thereby quickly accomplishing the result, is the path of means. As it is said, "The wonderful means of liberation from bad migrations, the self-arisen unborn suchness, the illusory appearance like an eye disease, although all actions of combining and liberating are done, not even a particle is done." And it is said, "By the mudra of Āli and Kāli, everything, everything will be accomplished." Furthermore, if that path itself is explained with an example, it will be easily understood. Just as the combination of mercury transforms iron into gold, this is the quick path of being skilled in means, therefore it is the path of means. It is not that there is no other method of alchemy without relying on it, just as the stone placed together with the jewel कौस्तुभ (kaustubha, Kaustubha, wish-fulfilling jewel) turns into gold, this is the example of the path of liberation. The third is that even so, the path of liberation does not need means and key instructions, and the path of means does not need the three wisdoms, if you think so, it is wrong. It should be distinguished, mainly it means it is not needed, but it is not all-encompassing that it is not needed at all. As Je Drinpa Nyeton's "Lamp for Clearing Obstacles" says: The path.
