There is no obstruction. It is said that one is liberated from the attachment to the difference between sharpness and dullness in non-duality. Some say, does the sharpness of one's own depend on listening, contemplation, and meditation, or not? If it is like the first, then the vow of self-nature is broken. If it is like the second, then it is a fault of being liberated effortlessly. If you ask that, then, does the sharpness and dullness of iron, which exists in the material, depend on the blacksmith or not? If it depends, then here too it depends on listening, contemplation, and meditation. If you say that, then it follows that iron is not sharp by nature, because it depends on listening, contemplation, and meditation. Then, it follows that iron is not sharp by nature, because it depends on the blacksmith, thus it is inferred. Again, if you say that the sharpness of iron does not depend on the blacksmith, then here too it does not depend on listening, contemplation, and meditation. Because it is possible for an untamed continuum to be pure. If it is a fault of being liberated effortlessly, then it follows that even if the iron is sharp, it should be able to perform the function of a weapon. Thus, the beginning is the same. Therefore, just as sharpness and dullness arise in iron when it meets with the condition of a blacksmith, here too, when one meets with the condition of listening, contemplation, and meditation, the difference between sharpness and dullness is manifestly established. The third view is that some say that the Guhyagarbha Tantra is the realm of the sharp faculty of taming, but not the realm of the sharp faculty of self-nature. In response, in the commentaries of Doljung brothers, that is not reasonable, because in that case, the nature of uncontaminated dharma would be the realm of the path of seeing, but not the realm of the path of cultivation. The opponent says, it is too much to say that the path of seeing is less intelligent than the path of cultivation. Then, it is too much to say that the sharpness of taming is less intelligent than the sharpness of self-nature. The reason and pervasion are the same. If you accept, then here too we accept. In the Lamrim it says, "Possessing the supreme eye of omniscient knowledge." Thus it is clear. Similarly, in the Lamrim it says, "Abandon the three accomplishments without taming." Thus it is clear, thus the beginning is inferred. Fourth, the nature of the one who is born is, the birth of the five minds, in the Root Tantra it says, "The nature is the birth of the five minds." And, in the Small Treatise it says, "The five Bodhicittas such as destruction and rising, are definitely born, and are considered as the nature." Thus it is. There are two types, the five minds of the path of liberation and the path of means. The first also has two types, in general, here we calculate the manner of birth, and based on this, we calculate the upper and lower paths. The first is, ordinary beings with inherent darkness, and especially broad

Having freed oneself from the desires of the lower vehicles, such as the land-darkened heretics, the mind wavering in Mahāyoga is the wavering bodhicitta. Aspiring to comprehend the meaning of Mahā with that basis is the aspiring bodhicitta. Entering into that meaning is the entering bodhicitta. Having entered and abiding in the effort to practice the meaning of non-duality is the abiding bodhicitta. Having abided and perfected the five paths is the perfected bodhicitta. That is also as stated in the Stages of the Path: Thus, with two and four, the supreme wavering mind arises. With that basis, comprehending aspiration, causes the remaining image to enter. There, give the supreme samaya, the lineage is determined with ten benefits. With two powers, place the blessings, strive to open one's own excellent eye. For the sake of seeing the mandala of the cause, receive pure hearing and thought. Thus it is said. In the commentary on self-abiding, it says: From the basis of knowledge of the two reversed of the six uncommon causes and conditions, the mind entering the Great Vehicle rises and wavers like fire on grass, and with that cause, three aspirations arise, and thereby entering the mandala of illusory drawings, after giving the samaya, indicating the lineage, giving the power of self-benefit two or more, abiding in the cause of hearing and thinking, seeking the characteristics of knowable objects, collecting the topic and initiating the topic, the necessary connection and the object to be fully known, and the differences of entrustment, making it the object of practice is the first abiding. To that (‹བ›དེས་) having reached the limit, giving fifteen or eighteen, practicing the benefit of both self and others is, until the knowledge reaches the limit, and that also the abiding mind has two, abiding in seeing and abiding in the five entrances. The perfected mind is, the perfected path of the occasion and the common perfected path are three. Those are spoken of in terms of sequence. Thus it is said. In the second aspect, there is counting as the general path, counting as only contaminated, and also counting the manner of possessing the five minds in each path. In the first aspect, the Eye Commentary says: First, wavering bodhicitta, second, aspiring three entering minds, abiding perfected four five, thus it is said. Having understood the view, that in meditation, the mind wavers and rises, that
